Sunset Shimmer, in many a tale both canon and fandom, is a two-toned ball of pent up emotions. You demonstrated that well here.
This is one of those stories that imprints itself in the back of your mind and is conjured up when you’re feeling like the world is rushing by. It is a very real feeling that I’ve haven’t experienced on this site before and I’m glad that it has come to light because this is something brilliant. Sunsets plight hits on every chord for me and showcases how extraordinary her friends are. If there is a follow on story of Sunset going back to Equestria I’m 100% here for it because I know it’s going to suck emotionally but be cathartic in the same instances. Bravo!
Great story! It was easy to connect with Sunset's plight and Fluttershy's conversation with her was sweet. And while this isn't romance, it's funny to imagine this as an example of sapphics being quick to move in together.
This! This should've been the finale to Equestria Girls! Just Sunset having normal thoughts of fear and her friends comforting her! Just some bittersweet fluff.
