Several months have passed since Cosmos ascended the throne as Empress of Equestria, and things have more or less returned to normal for all involved.

But one thing remains. Cosmos can no longer take it. Her feelings for the human Crystal grow daily, and it is driving her mad that she might not spend all eternity with her.

Luckily, Crystal finally has an answer to a question Cosmos asked her some time ago now. But what is it?

On what appears to be an ordinary day, Amber takes Crystal to the outskirts of Ponyville, just the two of them. When Crystal asks why Amber has a surprising answer.

She wants to show her, as she calls it, her Dragon Form. A form all Exarchs and Cosmos can take. What follows will be one of the oddest days, Crystal, Emerald, Celestial, Orchid, and Water Lilly will ever have.

Though it says sequel, this is technically a mid-story arc from Long Live The Empress that I'm making separate from the main story.

When Twilight returns Cerberus to Tartarus, the last thing she expects to find and happen is to meet the ruler of the realm herself.

Even less so when that pony, Penumbra, turns out to be an alicorn. As she spends more time with the mysterious mare, Twilight finds herself drawn to her.

Unable and unwilling to leave Penumbra alone, Twilight strikes a deal with her to allow her to leave Tartarus. A deal that will change both of their lives.

Long before many empires were even a passing thought to any, a creature was born. This creature was born long before the rise of the Three Tribes of Equestria, long before Boreas' image graced Eques and rose the griffons from squabble and squalor, and longer yet than the first native set hoof on Zebrica. It watched over the birth of the Solar and Lunar diarchs, it observed as the glorious mountain empire of the Diamond Dogs crumbled and vanished in the winds of history. It lead the enslaved zebras from Griffonia to Zebrica and helped them settle the untamed wilds of the new continent. In many countries, the world over, the first recorded pieces from many empires were of this creature, some depicting it as a god, others as a mortal with a curse laid upon it for some unknown deeds, and others claim it to be no more than an icon of goodwill and that the creature never truly existed. After all, once empires were established and understanding of the world grew, fewer and fewer sightings of this creature occurred before it eventually vanished from the world altogether, soon becoming nothing more than a myth and legend told to the young at bedtime.

This story is a sequel to The Royal Three.

When Atlas, Apollo and Artemis were transported to Equestria by mysterious portal eight months ago, they knew that their lives would never be the same.
