A threat, known as the Ghost Murderer is loose in Canterlot. Princess Twilight Sparkle only wants to go star gazing, but her Brother is busy with Cadence and can't take her. She puts it upon herself to ask a new guard to protect her travels to the castle garden. With a twist of events, this new pegasus is put in charge of the lavender alicorn.

This story contains a time of love, hope, and secrets in between a member of the royal guard, and a princess. Princess Twilight goes on a trip to the Crystal Empire to see her family, but comes back with something else. Flash Sentry is a member of the royal guard, and is excited for his biggest crush ever to arrive at the Crystal Empire. At the end of the trip, the two find love. Although, with monsters, wars, and other responsibilities of a princess and a guard, and not to mention Twilight' s over protective brother, it's becoming hard to see each other. Will their true love pass? Or will it fail?

Summary: Once upon a time, when Twilight Sparkle was still in school and became Princess Celestia's assistant, she got a boyfriend! His name was Fassbender, a male unicorn. Fassbender and Twilight got into a lovely relationship. Became very close.
Even though, Twilight was mostly kept busy as Princess Celestia's assistant and started seeing less of Fassbender until she realized that their relationship wasn't working out. When she tells Fassbender that they need to break up, he leaves Equestria all together in disgust and claims to never come back.
Many years later, when Fassbender finds out that Twilight moved onto some other pony like Flash Sentry, he returns to win her back. Fassbender is not really a ordinary male unicorn. For the whole time, he's actually a vicious, intense demon who's always wanted to become the new ruler of Equestria and eliminate Princess Celestia somehow. When he found out that Twilight became Princess Celestia's apprentice, he disguised himself to blend in with the pony world.
The reason why Princess Celestia never suspected that Fassbender was going to pull off a terrible tragedy to her kingdom is, of course she only knows him by his real, true appearance and his nickname, "the Scoundrel."

Twilight and Flash now face the hardships, yet pleasing rewards, of being a couple, but is it too good to be true?

Twilight Sparkle is worried that the only stallion she ever thought of liking has gone MIA. Twilight thinks there is still a chance for him to be alive but here's the thing, he has been missing for seven months with no clues to say if he is alive or not. Will they find Flash Sentry and will he pursue a certain mare, read to find out.
