"Twilight and Flash"

Chapter 9

Where was Flash Sentry for this whole time while Equestria got taken over by demons? A week ago, Flash was given a vacation by Shining Armor and Cadence when they thought that he had been working really hard at the Crystal Empire that they decided that he needed a break as a reward. Flash decided to spend his vacation by visiting his birthplace, West Curvia Island.
There he was on the beach, sitting in a fold-up chair. Surrounded by waves, sand, surfboards, and palm trees. He had his guitar in his lap which goes to show that he had just been strumming some tunes and singing harmonies for his own company. Now he had fallen asleep and was dozing off to dreamworld. Beside Flash, was a glass table. Perched on it, was a glass of lemonade and a picture frame of Twilight. This makes Flash dream about Twilight, the letters they would send to each other, and how he was in disappointment that she wasn't able to come with him on his vacation.
All of a sudden, his happy dreams about Twilight get interrupted with a unusual kind of nightmare. In his dozing mind, he started to see Twilight, all alone and sad, in some kind of deserted ghost town of Ponyville.
"Flash? Flash?" called Twilight sadly "Where have you gone? Why couldn't you travel to Ponyville to come see me anymore...? Or defeat the demon tyrant, Fassbender? I had to marry him so that he could spare my friends and all the other ponies who have become slaves to the newly established demon world. We are still prisoners of Demon Island which is in the northern direction of your birthplace. If only if you could have done something! The magic of friendship is all gone!"
Twilight fades away, and Princess Luna appears.
"Save her, Flash! Save us all!" Princess Luna called
Flash wakes up with a start from this terrifying dream sequence. He looks all around him but everything seems to be normal. Then, he looks up at the sky which are still blue but get gobbled up by very dark clouds in one second. Flash looked over to where the horrifying clouds were coming from. It appeared to look as though they were coming from the north. Flash thought for a moment and tried to make sense of what was going on. He soon came to a decision.
"What's gone wrong with our world...?" he thought in a panicked tone. "It feels like it's crumbling apart before my very eyes. I've got to do something!" said Flash bravely.
Flash got out of the chair and headed for his summer home. Once back inside, Flash opened up the closet and found his armor waiting for him there. He quickly changed into it.
"It's a good thing I like carrying this around." said Flash "Wait for me, Twilight and everypony else, I'm coming for you. So you'd better watch out, Fassbender, you scoundrel."
"And then what happened?" asked Sherri
"Yeah, that can't be the ending." complained Stuart "Where's the part where you get to battle that demon?"
"Well, that's the end..." said their Dad
"But it wasn't a happy ending!" moaned Sherri
"It's the end of part one that is." said Flash "So there will be a continuation of the story, but that will have to wait until next time. Besides, it's getting very late. You kids need to be asleep by now."
"Okay, Dad." yawned Sherri
"You promise us you will tell the rest of the story tomorrow night?" asked Stuart
"Certainly," said Flash "good night."
The twins went to sleep as Flash flipped off the lamp in the bedroom, walked out, and closed the door behind him as the storm outside continued raging on.
