A solution is quickly find to garantee the handover of power within the princely family and that is to have her son, Soarin, married (or at least engaged).

If he can't find a girl he wants to marry, one chosen for him before he was born, by the former Ruling Prince, his grandfather, will be his betrothed.

What does it have to do with Rainbow Dash, his school's steeplechase champion, then? Well, probably almost everything!
