	After Flash earned his knighthood, the surprises didn't stop there. More kept coming as it got announced by Shining Armor that Flash was no longer going to be a guardspony at the Crystal Empire. He was now uprooted to being Princess Twilight's official bodyguard for saving her life. From then on, Flash began to live in Ponyville with Twilight. 
Several months later, during the summer, Twilight was granted a one-week vacation and Flash knew exactly where she should spend it. They went to West Curvia Island, Flash's birthplace. His parents still live there along with his sister Julia, who is currently trying to look for her special talent and earn her cutie mark. Twilight at first wanted to ask Flash if they could spend their summers at his family's house but when they arrived on West Curvia, everypony there was so excited to meet the Princess of Friendship that they all insisted that she purchase one of the Royal Summer Homes. 
That is now where Twilight and Flash spend their summers these days whenever it's alright for Princess Twilight to take a vacation. They also became a family since not too long ago, Twilight and Flash thought about how inseparable they had become so they got married. In no time at all, Twilight became pregnant and gave birth to twins; a pegasus known as Stuart, and a unicorn called Sherri. Whenever Twilight had to attend to important matters and Flash had to come along and protect her, they usually asked Pinkie Pie to babysit their babies whenever she wasn't minding the candy store and the Baby Cakes. But each family member still found time to be with each other during the morning and at night. They even found more time to be with each other whenever they took one of their summer trips over to West Curvia. 
"...And that's when they lived together happily ever after." finished Flash "Wasn't that a great story?" 
"Yes it was," said Stuart. "It was not only great but amazing!" 
"Mostly because of how it had a happy ending to it." said Sherri 
"No, it was because that all really happened." grumbled Stuart 
"You never give me anything do you." groaned Sherri 
"Now, now, kids be nice to each other or I'm not going to tell you anymore bedtime stories." said their Dad 
"Okay." said the twins 
Then they all heard a knock on the door. Who did it turn out to be, no pony other than Princess Twilight. 
"Flash, are you still telling our kids the story about the events that led to our marriage?" she asked 
"It's fine, Twilight, I just wrapped it up." said Flash "Go to sleep now, kiddies, we have another long day ahead of us." 
"Will you tell us another story like that?" asked Stuart 
"Sure," said Flash. "But next time, okay , get some sleep." 
The twins yawned, snuggled up in their blankets, and went to sleep. Twilight and Flash moved quietly out of their kids' bedroom, switched off the light and closed the door. They went to their bedroom to get some sleep as well as they listened to the waves crashing on the beach.
