Actually, this is a lot more complicated than it was before so let me be careful with my wording here.
Dusk Shine was born a mare; one of the rare, non-royal blooded alicorns that doesn't go out and completely expresses herself like a normal pony would.
This unofficial, rewrite of the spin-off follows the brilliantly smart-mouthed Twilight Sparkle: an antisocial, awkward, non-royal alicorn, unromantic bookworm, and (unbeknownst to her,) a ten on a scale hottie.
All Twilight Sparkle wanted to do was read, relax, and prepare for the never ending apocalypse as the never ending night that Night-Terror Knight will bring.
Much like any character you'd enjoy in King of Thrones, Twilight Sparkle's wishes are killed off when she is forced to leave her home in Canterlot because Prince Solaris sold her home in a game of Texas Hold-Em. Now she must live in a smaller town, named Ponyville, to watch over the Summer Sun Celebration and to make friends.
Unfortunately for her, each of the stallions she was instructed to be acquainted (and everyone else) with ends up falling head over hooves for the new librarian in town with the Canterlis accent.
Is this some sick joke or is Twilight Sparkle really supposed to make friends when everyone in Ponyville keeps fighting for her favor?

As she explores the Canterlu Region, she will meet new friends, make some rivals, and even battle an organization known as Team Nova Galactic, led by one of Cyrus's old lieutenants, Venus, whose goal is to use the power of the mighty Ultra-Beasts for their own dark agenda.

Sunset will face any challenge in order to eventually become a Pokémon Master.

The Dazzlings are old. Really old. It's very likely they've gone on many adventures and done many different things in their thousand-years trapped in the human world.

For Aria, a family might well be one of them.

Four friends get separated in a car accident. Meanwhile, purist Unicorns are attempting a fatal spell that results in their soul being overtaken by those pesky humans!

Three of the friends end up in Canterlot, while the last one ends up in Ponyville. Can they find their way back to each other? Do they even know who they're looking for? Do they even know if he's still alive?

Twilight found an orphaned Deer at the gate of her castle of Friendship in Ponyville. Maybe finding the little Deer by the gates was the first challenge worthy of her talents.

Spike still is the Librarian, only now Owloiscious is the Assistant.

What was to happen, the consequences of picking up and adopting a Deer, who could have told her? Yet, she is not about to regret her choice or go back on the promise and commitment.

Giving the friendship a chance and risk going wrong, just to see the little Fawn grow up to a kind and healthy Deer.

After having a terrible and horrible life , I was given a chance and made a deal with the dev-I mean Discord. Transferred as a god with dashing features into a television program that I never paid attention to ? Hell yeah. My only concern is what Discord meant by 'prone to enslavement.'
