Have you ever tasted dirt ? Well I have and let me tell you that it tastes like, you know, like dirt. Earthy too with a hint of small stones and if you lucky, earth worms as well. You, dear readers, are wondering why in my right mind would I go and taste dirt. Was I hungry ? A bet ? A dare perhaps ? No, no, no and no. I tasted dirt because travelling 300 miles per hour in a vertical drop towards the ground would, on default, chuck bags of dirt down your throat..
"Blarghwfff ! Ahhhhh, that's much better." I rubbed my tongue, attempting to rid the taste of soil. Let's never do that again. Sure flying is cool but I think I'm gonna stay on the ground for a while. Speaking of ground...I scanned my surrounding.
"How the heck did I survive an impact like this ?" I was in a deep crater, loose soil still tumbling down the ridges. My first thought was to get out of this self-made crater before thinking about...anything. Specifically the incident before this.
My heart began to beat faster. Panic attack. Great ! I internally groaned. Had to remind myself. Well done idiot ! I gulped deep breaths. "Calm down Thom-Silver. Calm down. Focus on getting out of this ditch. Yeah, Getting out of the ditch." The mantra worked, saying it continuously as I dragged my body up the slope.
"Made it !" Yelling an exasperated victory as I rolled onto the grass. My limbs were numb from exhaustion, specifically my wings. I mean that take off from ground zero should have ripped them off my body. It was kinda cool in a sort of 'cool but I am going to scream like a little girl ' way. I gazed at the day sky as the clouds moved with the wind. Looking around, I was in some sort of hilly grassland. With the kingdom to my rig- I squinted. Wait, what ! I gasped as I see it turn to some sort of black dust. It was quite a distance away from me but I knew It was the Via Lactea Kingdom , those towers I remember...and they were gone too. The whole kingdom disappeared revealing and leaving, more grasslands in it's place.
"What the hell is going on ?" I was in shock, which turned to dread shortly afterwards as realisation dawned upon me. "Luna ! " Every pony was...gone. A whole civilisation gone ! Guilt began to seep in. Was it my fault ? Was my escapade the cause of this ? Although Celestia did, you know, s-s-stuff to me. S-S-She o-o-only did it for her s-s-sister. Galaxia was neutral, she never really did any thing to me but neither has she helped me. Still, what about the other ponys ? I recalled the first pony I spoke to. "...Sweeping Star ! " My ears folded. "Is it my fault ?"
"Of course not Silver !"
"Ahhhhh !" I yelped as I fell backwards into the crater. "DISCORD !"
Discord floated towards me as he magically conjured two chairs and a table, spread with a ridiculous amount of food. "Silver, you need to calm down, here, I know you hungry. You know, witnessing the destruction of an anomaly does give you an appetite."
I stared glumly at Discord. "Don't you feel sorry for them ? I-I-I-I mean I just annihilated an entire nation. "
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH !" Discord began to laugh as he banged his claw on the table. "Silver, you surprise me sometimes. " I scowled at the Lord of Chaos. "Discord, this is not funny !"
Discord wiped a tear from his eye as he gave a smile at me. "Silly Silver. Why should we feel sorry for them ? In fact I bet my antler that they feel sorry for us. I mean since they are an anomaly of this world, they get a painless death without knowing it, well most of them anyway, and they get to choose their own fate. Reincarnation in this world or heaven. It's a win win."
Huh. That's.....actually not bad. Since the anomaly is gone, Equestria has a much less chance of experiencing doomsday's. I sat on the chair Discord offered me. But still, the guilt.
"I guess you right Discord but that does not change the fact that I killed thousands of ponies."
Discord gave a snort as he grabbed a bowl of ice cream from the oven. "You disintegrating thousands of ponies ? You not there yet kiddo. Don't worry."
I rolled my eyes. Still, the guilt vanished. "Then how did this happen ?" I said as I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie, only to get pie on my face.
"Tsk.Tsk. That is not the concerning matter right now." I licked the some pie of my face. "Mhmmmm. Apple pie."
Discord slithered towards me. "What are you going to do now ? The biggest anomaly is gone so your duty is somewhat over."
My heart split into two as I hung my head in shame. I realised why the kingdom collapsed and disintegrated. Because I failed my job. I was suppose to contain the anomalies, perhaps I really did destroy the Via Lactea Kingdom . It seemed that Equestria itself destroyed the anomaly, seeing my escape as form of defeat, failure to contain the chaos.
"Thomas ? Are you okay ?" I forced a smile. "I'm fine Discord." I took another cookie to let Discord know everything is okay. I silently made a promise. A promise that I would do my best to contain the chaos and save any ponies tangled with it. For Luna...
"Silver ?"
"Yes ?"
"You never answer my question. What's next ? The anomalies left don't really affect Equestria, there too small and insignificant, I think. Are you going to follow that dream of yours."
I nodded my head. If I ever encounter an anomaly, I would save him or her. But I have a goal now. "I'm planning to visit Zephyr Heights, maybe get a job there....and then whenever it takes me. Have a family I guess."
Discord puked rainbows. "Urgh, settle down ? You an immortal being for cotton candy sake ! Your humble ambitions in life is making me- Hatgtrujwd!"
I covered by face with my hooves as a spray of rainbow vomit washed over me. "Discord ! Arg, disgusting." I shook myself to get the rainbow muck off.
Discord shook his head. "Hey don't blame me, O pious pone."
I rolled my eyes as I gave a small smile. "Thank you for worrying over me Discord but that's all I want and besides, Zephyr Heights is a Pegasus kingdom, so I will easily blend in and in a few years I will get to meet the mane 5 !"
Discord scoffed. "Mane 5 ? Pah ! Let me show you the real squad who brought this Gen 5 world to Life." He clicked his claws, revealing a television set.
"Behold ! My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic ! Season 1 !"
I honestly have to say that duration of watching MLP : Fim , season 1, with Discord was awesome. I fully understand why people go crazy over it. It surprised me. Celestia and Luna especially. They were more mature than the ones I dealt with and more caring and Kind. Arghhh ! Too much of emotions flowing at the same time.
The TV set disappeared as Discord turned to me. "So, what do you think."
I gave him a sincere smile. "I really enjoyed it. Thank you Discord."
Discord grinned. "Do mentioned it ! So, I know this is sudden but-" Discord suddenly came right to my face. "Who do you think is the best pony ? "
Huh, never took Discord to be a hardcore fan. "From the mane 6 ?"
"No, from Equestria."
Hmmmm. I scratched my chin. Personally, I really liked Twilight sparkle. She's smart, pretty and has a good heart. " I think Twilight Sparkle is the best pony....uhhh Discord, not to be rude but somethings going on with your face."
It seemed like an anger mixed with fury but it quickly went back to normal. "Silver, your answer is absolutely off, wrong. Wronger than wrong."
I gave Discord a confused look. "Isn't there no right answer since it is a ponies opi-blmfff !" I felt a zipper on my mouth.
Discord made a tut-tut noise. "That's where you are wrong Silver. There is a correct answer. Fluttershy."
Fluttershy ? Well, she is cute. I like her as well but It's just preference. I unzip my mouth. "Discord-"
Discord gave a disappointing look. "Silver, I am your close friend and guide to this alien world. Trust me when I say the first thing you want to know is that Fluttershy is best pony. Come Silver, say it with me. Shout it on the rooftops : FLUTTERSHY IS BEST PONY !"
I looked at Discord, his eyes going all wacky. Eeyup, he is a fanatic. Might as well join him. Sorry Twilight.

It was morning, the rays were warm and gentle. Discord managed to whip up some tents for the night and so sleeping was comfortable. Now though, after breakfast, we had leave our separate ways for now.
"Do you really have to go for one week ?" I said.
Discord gave a soft smile. "Don't fret Thomas Alesia, I just got something I need to set up."
Ah well. I can't help it. Let's just hope the week flies by. "Oh, Discord ?"
"Yes Silver ?" The lord of chaos said as he magically made the camping site disappear.
"Well, after watching Friendship is magic, I realised I want to be a real pony. No shape shifting. The genshin impact thing was nice but made me feel fake. Like I had no identity. I want a permanent form. A form that's me."
Discord gave a knowing smile. "I know what you mean. I have the power to look like anything I want but It just never set well with me. So I decided to have a permanent form. I don't mind ponies thinking it's weird or scary. The fact that I have my own self-identity made it worth it. " Discord clicked his claws, revealing a mirror. "What do you think about the real you ?"
Wow, that was really fast. I looked at the mirror. I was a little shorter now. My coat was still steel grey and my hair was more white than silver, the lock of hair still troubling my left eye. That lock of hair was now a dark blue instead of red. My eyes matching it. I had more tufts of fur on my chest, tinged white. My ears as well, at the tips, were white. I open my wings revealing them to be normal except for my left wing. Right at the tip was a white spot, noticeable if I flew. I looked at my flank. My star-calligraphy-worded cutie mark was tinged with white, green and blue. No doubt symbolising my magic with wind and water.
"D-D-Discord is this the real me ? Back in my world I wasn't really attractive s-s-so why-"
Discord silenced me with a paw. ""Thomas Alesia, what you look now is based of your heart and Thomas you have a good heart, a heart of gold."
I hugged Discord, probably surprising him as I cried in his fur. "T-T-Thank you so much Discord ! I'm glad you consider me your friend. Thank you for caring me." I felt a pat on my head. Turning my head upwards I saw a smiling Discord.
"Don't worry Kiddo ! I'll always have your back !'"
After lunch (Which Discord conjured as a picnic basket), It was time for Discord to leave. "Now kiddo before I leave I got some some supplies for you to survive for the week." Discord clicked his claws as a pair of brown saddle bags wrapped around my barrel. "Oh almost forgot."
My eyes widen at the object in Discords paws/claws. A plain sword with the colour of my namesake.
"Ermmm. Discord, you do now I have hooves right ?"
Discord waved his paw. "You'll get used to it. Don't worry. Since you are planning to go to Zephyr heights, I will meet you there. Goodbye Thomas, for now. See you next week !"
I said goodbye back as he disappeared in a puff of smoke. I l gazed at the landscape to my left. " If Via Lactea Kingdom was north of Zephyr Heights then I should being left, I think. Welp. Pegasus kingdom here I come !"
