In the middle of the Canterlu Region, a young girl named Sunset Shimmer is starting her first days as a Pokémon Trainer, with her partner Pokémon, Pyrosaur. As she explores the Canterlu Region, she will meet new friends, make some rivals, and even battle an organization known as Team Nova Galactic, led by one of Cyrus's old lieutenants, Venus, whose goal is to use the power of the mighty Ultra-Beasts for their own dark agenda.
Sunset will face any challenge in order to eventually become a Pokémon Master.

I think you're missing the point, unless you're changing the names of places and Pokemon I just thought it would be prudent of me to point out the correct spelling. Or is it spelt differently from your side of the world, in which case I apologise.
I wonder if your 10 year old Sunset will actually be a 10 year old, as Misty and Ash always acted to mature. Brock is 5 years older then them but they all seamed to be of the same age, behaviourwise.
A for effort, but this chaper needs some reworking. "Said, said, said, ..." sounds bad, avoid repetition, try "yelled, screamed, mentioned, voiced" and so on. It's to fast-paced. Human interaction is more then three words. The tone of the voice, gestures and facial expression are a big part of conversations. An XP share doesn't make sense outside of a game. Experiences is something you live through, not a made up number.
Litten will be Sunset’s partner. Cool! An Aloan starter Pokémon and will get some payback on Trixie when it evolves into a powerful Incinroar. I hope Sunset learns about Ash and his friends when she learns the history of Team Galactic and with their previous scheme to rule the world only to be squashed by Ash, Dawn, and Brock back in Season 12.

Just to let everyone know, The Canterlu Region takes place in Great Britain.
So, yes, Sci-Twi, Adagio Dazzle, and others will have British Accents. Rainbow and Fluttershy will not since Rainbow was from the Hoenn Region, and Fluttershy was from the Kanto Region.
