This is a potentially-one-off story about an alicorn disguised as an earth pony. Unfortunately, alicorn magic doesn't like to be suppressed and must be let out once in a while so it doesn't explode.

Join some unnamed alicorn OC pony as they burn off some excess energy while trying to avoid detection.

As a timeless immortal being, I never understood death and loss. I was willing to make friends and play nice, I even fell in love. But then one day I lost the pony I loved most, and sought to escape my grief. It went fine for a time, until somepony restored magic to Equestria.

Hitch was having a pretty normal day, until a strange creature appeared on the road and transformed him into a mare. He kept going on about somepony named Fluttershy, before vanishing and imploding a few buildings. Hitch misses the days before he was a national hero in constant peril.

After hearing a haunting melody for weeks on end, Rainbow Dash flys far east from Equestria, making a journey she has to make.

Wielding her gift of foresight, Celestia will do anything, even something completely unheard of, to secure the future of her little (only compared to her) ponies.

But in order to not hamper their will for self-improvement, she would influence things in a very careful and covert manner. Anything in the world can be her instrument in this chess game - eternal and complex, like life itself.
