The Sun rose above the quiet little town known as Everfree Town, and all the children went out to play as people and Pokemon were all ready to start the day.
Sun-Rise Shimmer was busy eating toast and drinking his morning coffee when he saw Vulpix and Baltoy running past.
"Hey, you two," Sun-Rise said. This made Vulpix and Baltoy stop in their tracks.
"Can you two go up to Sunset's room and see if she's..." before Sunrise could finish, he heard a groan of frustration coming from Sunset's room.
"Ok, she's awake," Sunrise said. "Well that's one mystery solved, can you two check on her, I don't want her to show up late to the Professor.
Then, Vulpix and Baltoy came into her room, and saw that she was having trouble choosing which hat she wanted to wear.
"Do I want the Red Hat, or the Blue Hat," Sunset said to herself. "Uggh, C'mon Sunset, Red or Blue, make up your mind."
"Ba Ba Baltoy," Baltoy said as he tugged on Sunset's left sock.
"Oh hey Baltoy, hey Vulpix," Sunset said as she took a red hat and put it on. "Alright, I'm all ready for today and gearing to the first day in my journey to being a Pokémon Master," Sunset said as she was walking down the stairs.
"Well good Morning my little Sunshine," Sunrise said.
"Oh I wanted to give you this," Sunrise said as he handed her a toy Groudon. "Happy 10th Birthday. Have you made a Birthday wish yet."
"I wish...That Mom was here to see me now," Sunset said as she about to head out the door.
"Oh, I wanted to tell you, Professor Celestia isn't at the town Lab, she's at the Pokémon Center near Route 301 and Everton Gate," Sunrise said. "Also make sure to put on sunscreen, were having a really bad heat-wave."
"Thanks Dad," Sunset said as she raced out the door.
"Sigh, kids, they grow up so fast," Sunrise said as he finished his Coffee.
(Meanwhile on route 301)
A girl named Trixie Lulamoon was taking her Litten to a nearby light pole where she then wrapped a rope around it which was then wrapped around Litten's neck.
"Now Litten I want you to stay here and wait for me," Trixie said as she then walked off.
Trixie then got out a phone and called her boyfriend, "Alright I'm coming over to your place."
"Oh forget about Litten, I'm not coming back for it," Trixie said. "Because first of all, I don't like Fire-Type Pokémon, and second, I hate cats."
Litten heard every-bit of this as its face saddened over the fact that its own trainer betrayed and abandoned it.
Suddenly, Litten heard the sound of Scuttling feet and the snapping of claws coming towards it.
Then, Litten was surrounded by a group of Krabby.
Litten tried to cry out for help as the Krabby scuttled slowly towards him.
Sunset along with Baltoy were heading towards the Pokémon Center when they saw the commotion.
"Oh no, the Krabby are going to tear that poor Litten apart," Sunset said. "We gotta help Baltoy."
Baltoy then moved towards the Krabby, which got their attention.
"Baltoy use Psyshock," Sunset said as Baltoy emitted a wavey colored beam at the Krabby which disoriented them.
"Alright, now use SolarBeam," Sunset said as Baltoy fired a blast of Photosynthetic energy, sending the Krabby flying.
The Krabby then retreated back to the nearby river.
Sunset then went towards the frightened Litten.
"Shh, don't worry, the Krabby are all gone, you're safe now," Sunset said. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you."
"If there's a rope around your neck, then that means someone put it on you," Sunset said. "Man, who would do such a horrible thing?"
Litten was reluctant at first, but it soon submitted when Sunset freed it from it's chain.
Than Sunset then thought of something, "Wait if there are a group of Krabby, shouldn't there be..."
Before Sunset could finish her thought, she saw a shadow appear above her.
Sunset turned around, only to see...
"Ahh, A Kingler," Sunset said.
The KIngler tried to use Hydro-Pump on Baltoy, but Baltoy used Protect to protect itself.
Then, the Kingler turned to fire at Litten, only for Baltoy to jump in the way and due to using Harden, took little damage.
Before the Kingler could fire, a yellow colored Krabby jumped up and tried to attack The Kingler, but the Kingler knocked it away with it's claw.
Now The Kingler was about to finish the Krabby off using Crabhammer
However as Kingler was about to attack, a voice said. "Weepingbell, use Razor Leaf,"
Suddenly, a volley of serrated leaves hits Kingler, doing severe damage.
It was a Girl wearing a Grass-like dress, and who had Magenta hair.
"Alright, Weepingbell use Vine-Whip," Gloriosa said as Weepingbell made two prickly vines that repeatedly struck at Kingler, this time, The Kingler Fainted from the Damage.
"Alright good work, Weepingbell return," Gloriosa said as she returned Weepingbell to its Pokéball.
"Hey, are you and Litten alright," Gloriosa said.
"Yeah, just a little shaken up," Sunset said.
"I'm just glad that I was here to help before you two became Krab-Chow," Gloriosa jokingly said.
"Oh, my names Gloriosa Daisy, I'm the Gym Leader at Cateloopa City," Gloriosa said.
"Oh, I see,Thank you so much," Sunset said. "Wait a minute, what about that poor Krabby that was attacked.
Gloriosa went to examine the Krabby and saw that it had a more Bright Yellowish body than the normal Dark Red body.
Gloriosa went bug-eyed, "Sunset, I think this is a Shiny Krabby, Shiny Pokémon are rare and very hard to find."
"You should bring Litten Baltoy, and Krabby to the Pokemon Center immediately, anyways farewell and see you at Cateloopa city," Gloriosa said as she disappeared back into the forest.
(Meanwhile, at the Pokémon Center)
"Here's the potions you asked for Professor," Nurse Red-Heart said.
"Thank you so much," Professor Celestia said.
"PROFESSOR," Sunset said which startled Celestia.
"Good heavens, Sunset, what seems to be the problem," Professor Celestia said.
"My dad's Baltoy, this Litten, and this Krabby are severely hurt, is this the Pokémon Center," Sunset asked.
"Yes it is, do not worry, Nurse Red-Heart will restore these Pokémon to perfect health," Celestia said as she handed them over to Nurse Red-Heart.
Once all the Pokémon were healed, Sunrise picked up Baltoy and Litten and Krabby were dancing with happiness. Litten even thanked the Krabby for attempting to save him from the Kingler.
After Celestia had given Sunset her own Pokédex, 5 Poke-balls, a Town Map, and an xp share, she went up to Litten and Krabby.
Canterlu Region Pokédex Unit now activated, this Pokédex is now the property of beginning Pokémon trainer Sunset Shimmer, pleased to meet you Sunset and happy 10th birthday," The Pokédex said as it showed the image of a Birthday Cake and made a noise that sounded like a party horn.
"Alright, let's see what I have so far,"Sunset said.
"Litten, The Fire Cat Pokémon, While grooming itself, it builds up fur inside its stomach. It sets the fur alight and spews fiery attacks, which change based on how it coughs."
"WeepingBell, The Flycatcher Pokémon and the evolved form of Bellsprout, Even though it is filled with acid, it does not melt because it also oozes a neutralizing fluid."
"Krabby, The River Crab Pokémon, Its pincers are not only powerful weapons, they are used for balance when walking sideways."
"Alright, I got everyone," Sunset said. She then turned to Krabby.
"So Krabby, I guess this is where we say good-bye," Sunset said as she let the Krabby back into the wild, but the Krabby stayed put.
"What do you mean you don't want to go back," Sunset asked. Krabby then did gestures with it's claws telling why.
"Oh, so you don't want to go home because that Kingler and the other Krabbies were always picking on you just because you looked different from them," Sunset said, Krabby nodded its head yes.
"Oh, alright, you can come along, but I still have to wait for my Partner Pokemon since Dad agreed to keep Litten as a Pet, since it reminds him of my Mother's Litten," Sunset said, petting Krabby's shell. "Besides, I think the yellow color looks pretty on you.
Meanwhile, back at Team Nova Galactic Base, Venus was giving a speech to his soldiers.
"We once held an entire Region in terror, now we waste away in hiding, skulking like rats on their filth," Venus said. "But the time for hiding in the shadows is over.....now my friends is the time for action. The world once feared the name "Team Galactic," and it shall do so again today. Today, lesser organizations such as Team Skull and Team Yell will be wiped off the face of the Earth, thanks to our might."
"Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, please step forward," Venus said to Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow respectively.
"When I first found the three of you, you were nothing, you were weak, you were....lacking potential," Venus said. "But now that I have trained you, and molded you all in my image, you have become more than what you were once before."
"We will have the power of Ultra-Space, we will have the Ultra-Beasts, and the world shall be ours once more." Venus said.
"Uranus, Neptune, Pluto," Venus ordered. "Go to the Everton Tv Station and spread the word, THAT TEAM GALACTIC WILL RISE ANEW!!!!"
