Ahem.
I am more than willing to help finish a story that shows a lot of promise and potential, in fact I am honored to be asked to do so, and Conviction seems like a very promising story that's been convicted into being lost in limbo.
The problem is, it has seemed like Y1 has returned to Fimfiction quite some time ago but he has not updated Conviction. Which would be no problem, as it appears like he has no intention of writing Conviction--even though he clearly wants to. I will ask him if I may continue the story for him, but if the Aussie says 'No' then that's all there is to it. In fact, I'd say the story is close to being finished with an ending.
Nonetheless, I will inquire him about picking up where he left off.

I am a humble editor looking for someone to help me with a very important problem.
I have recently read 'Conviction' by Y1. I highly recommend you read it as it was written so well that even I, a rather cynical person cried while reading it. However this promising story will forever remain unfinished unless someone would like to take it up?
I have noticed you are rewriting another story, I would like to ask if you could finish Y1's story and put it where it belongs: in the featured section of Fimfiction's frony page.

I understand that this is a very big task to undertake as you will have to get in touch with an author that has long since left Fimfiction but i have the upmost faith in you.
