Discord rubbed his head. "You could have screamed or jumped in surprise." I shrugged as he stretched his arms. "So, what do you need Thomas ?"
I explained to him about the situation. "Ohhhhh ! That's all ?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes Discord, that's all." Two chairs suddenly appeared as he clicked his fingers. "Have a seat Thomas."
"Discord ? What did you do ?" I felt a strange feeling around my body.
"Ahh...I see you powers are becoming attuned. I stopped time." Yeah, say it casually as if it's no big deal. "I don't want your Princess walking on us." Did you have to say it like that ? "Anyway let's get started, first let's clear all your questions and then we will speak about the other stuff that I came here for."
I held my hoof to my chest. "And I thought you came here because I called."
"Stop being a drama queen." I sat on the chair as Discord sat on his. "Okay, let me explain it to you, properly. This world is an alternate universe. Meaning, it differs from the original universe that it was created from. Now sometimes, the changes are small and insignificant but some alternate universes have ridiculous changes making extremely chaotic and dangerous, these dark alternates, as we like to call them, do not last long, because it's so messed up that it ends up getting destroyed by its inhabitants. Lucky for us we got the most chaotic alternate of all of the MLP universes !"
My brain reeled back. "M-M-M-Most chaotic ?"
Discord clapped in excitement. "Righto ! And it is your job to prevent the chaos from going out of control."
"My job ?"
A biscuit appeared in Discord's hand. *Munch* "You see, a universe that gets destroyed or becomes highly unstable could upset the entire multiverse, causing cataclysms upon cataclysms. So, Gods or guardians are sent to these dark alternates to look after them and keep the balance."
I let that sink in. "Want a biscuit ? I see you stressed out." I nodded, taking the biscuit. *Nom* "So am I a God or a Guardian because...I'm not meaning like I am ungrateful with what you have given me. I just do not feel like this all powerful being you say."
Discord looked thoughtful for a while. "One, you are a guardian not a god. In terms of power there is no difference but where there is a difference is what power that you hold. A god has a much wider skill set but they are restricted to talk with the inhabitants or make contact with the inhabitants of there respective world. They have to send representatives or talk indirectly. Guardians on the other hand are not bound by work or responsibilities to the extent Gods are, but they can be easily trapped, like in your situation. Guardians powers do not come instantly, you going to have to mature into it. Currently this world has three guardians. Two being cursed guardians and you, the Elder guardian."
"Elder guardian ?"
"You are a rare type of guardian. Since your elemental type is more than one. I think it was wind and water."
Huh. It corresponds with my secondary bodies. "Discord ? Is me being a slave preventing me from transforming into my human form ?"
Discord shook his head. "No, you doing it wrong. Remember, the human forms you chose with their specific elements. You going to have to channel that elemental power to change."
Great. I have the solution but will I be able to pull it off ?
I shut my eyes as I felt the wind surround me. Opening my eyes I stared at the mirror presented to me....
"Yessss ! I'm human !" I was in my Kazuah form. He was an anemo character. Even my voice changed. I pulled the sword from my side.
"Just so you know, Thomas, All the skills that both characters you chose is already available to you."
That feels like cheating but hey, I ain't complaining. Well, all my answers were answered, though I'm nervous about those cursed guardians that were searching for me. "Discord ? What must I do ? " I mean am I supposed to be gallivanting everywhere like batman ?
Discord chuckled. "Thomas or should I say Silver, this is not 'with great power comes great responsibility' life. I'll call you when you needed. Live your life, enjoy, you deserve it."
Discord gave a surprise yelp when I hugged him. "Thank you for your kindness, for everything." Discord smiled as he patted my head. "I remember saying that to somepony a loooong time ago."
"Did the pony give you a second chance at life as well ?"
"Yes." Discord's smile briefly disappeared. "When no pony else gave me a chance. Anyway before I go, you should turn back to your original form. If moon butt see's you like a human...."
Moon butt ? Oh he meant Luna. Lol. "Yeah, she would strangle me or something." I said, a small smile appearing on my face.
Discord put his paw on my shoulder. "Silver let me give you some advice. When you get chance, run away from this kingdom. This is the anomaly of this world and these Alicorns are dangerous."
"Dangerous ?"
Discord shook his. "Not in a bad way but you have to keep your identity a secret. What I mean is your powers. Guardians have the right to any throne as Alicorns are and the fact you are an eligible stallion to rule a mare dominated Kingdom. You will end up causing chaos, which is not bad for us but terrible for this world. I'm pretty sure the princesses are suspicious of you."
I shook my head. "The princess are actually not bad as you make them seem, Discord. I mean Celestia is unbelievably kind and compassionate . Princess Luna, well, once you get-"
Discord stopped me. "Thomas, I cannot hold this time magic any longer. So listen carefully. If Luna is a lion, then Celestia is the snake and Galaxia is the vulture. Do not trust them, especially Celestia. She is probably on to you."
And with that. He disappeared
