Nurse Redheart had a stressful job, mostly due to her self isolation from most of the staff. She's one of the best surgeons in equestria, but will she be able to fix the heart of a injured changeling filly. She soon finds the some wounds can't be seen, but must be felt... Kinda like internal bleeding.

After a intense magical accident, some of the Everfree's most feared creatures finally declare an attack on the changeling queen. The results are disastrous and are meet by banishing 23 hatch lings. Now will this rag tag group of changelings be able to tough out the worst of the Everfree and finally find a place called home?

I have a 'Bitching allowed' rule where if someone dislikes my story, I wish to know why. No matter the reason, I just want to know. Doesn't hurt to know a few things about my story, does it?

And last but not least, The whole story is gonna be affected about how much love it receives. If it is well-received, then it might go further than originally expected. Otherwise, I'll keep it to the same development. Got it?

Since their defeat at Canterlot, the changelings have been surviving solely because of the generosity of the Equestrian government. After most of their drones were killed in the invasion, the remnants, still led by Queen Chrysalis, live off periodic deliveries of love magic from the Equestrians.

One day, a strange creature appears deep in the tunnels of the hive. The new arrival creates many new decisions for Queen Chrysalis to consider.

During a scouting mission, Bright Justice, Smoke Bomb, and SgtMaj Dusky come across an injured changeling who they bring before Celestia. Since Changelings are outlawed in Equestria, the changeling is instantly thrown into the dungeon under the watch of Bright Justice and his companion, Cloudy Steel. Hello. My name is Anninnicus. Anninnicus Ravenfury... It's a name I came up with on my own, truthfully... My real name is... Chirp.. And that name was given to me by, well... everypony.

It started with my adoptive mother, Lovely Lights. And I suppose my name change never went through, and I also suppose I'm far too lazy to do it again.

It's totally contradictory thinking, yes, bad name, want to change it... and too lazy to change it. That's just how I function. I'm perfectly fine with it, even if I have to cringe every time someone tries to use "Chirp" to refer to me.

I can expect you all are here to hear all the stories of the War, and my... 'excursions' following it's end.

However, I'd rather talk about the most joyful years of my life, as it was only after the war ended that I became even remotely relevant in this world.
