Since their defeat at Canterlot, the changelings have been surviving solely because of the generosity of the Equestrian government. After most of their drones were killed in the invasion, the remnants, still led by Queen Chrysalis, live off periodic deliveries of love magic from the Equestrians.
One day, a strange creature appears deep in the tunnels of the hive. The new arrival creates many new decisions for Queen Chrysalis to consider.
Figured I'd post something for 3 year anniversary, already got multiple chapters done so a consistent update schedule can be expected (for a while at least).

I was going with ponies being skittish and slightly reliant on the princesses. Since they're also in the heart of enemy territory, they might be prone to overreact to suspicious things.
To be fair, I could have fleshed out the delegation team thing better. I'll have to keep it in mind for a later chapter.

So... Chrysalis does not know how to make pancakes, the other changelings presumably don't know how to make pancakes... Cadance knows how to make pancakes... My two guesses are: the surprise inspectors find Chrysalis and Aaron, Cadances childcare instincts kick in when Aaron makes mention that he is hungry then Cadance makes pancakes for everyone; or the ponies will be in the kitchen and everyone walks/runs in at the same time. Keep up the good work.

So, not trying to bandwagon here, but Luna caused one of the largest problems to an unknown third party creatures health, makes another party take the blame, and all the while insults them, and on top of that making claims that after she, a resident figurehead of power injured an innocent civilian, forces someone else to heal them, and makes herself look innocent.
