I have several questions.
Honour really needs to take those weights off her back and calm down. I completely understand that Anon is very important to Equestria but she starting to fall into a pit from always trying to take the fall.
She is becoming that person who always apologize, to the point of it even being annoying at times.
If she's not careful she is going to project her life on to Anon and only see herself as an extension of him rather than her being her own person.
10654243 I guess magic? This Equestria seems to have branches of the military for bloody everything, they might as well have a branch dedicated to using unicorn magic to make enemies think their thoughts are being read.
10654243
The answers would probably not be very palatable. Of course with all the reforming spells in Twilight's Library, it is obvious that Equestria has a much more liberal view of mental manipulation than we do, at least on the surface... I am sure black ops are capable of doing some morally ambiguous things as well.

The Military Occupation Specialist codes for intelligence analysts in the US Army all begin with “35”: http://www.armywriter.com/NCOER/duty-description-MOS35.htm
I figured magical horse land would probably also have *telepathic* intelligence gathering, hence MOS 35PSY.
It's a dirty to some. Engineering to humans. But all the same I am seeing two sides of the same coin plus I am hoping that both will come to the conclusion, That if nothing more that Anon does not fall hard on his face for the other ponies.
This chapter had a lot of important dialogue in it, I really enjoyed the back and forth between all three of them. Anon discussing plans, his thought process for the Hoofstrong meeting, and playfully picking at his bodyguards was the most casual I've seen him in this entire story. No pressure, no work, just talking and discussing. Honor voicing her thoughts is becoming more of a treat than ever, and Lily, unlike before, was relentlessly trying to get to the bottom of Honorbound's gung-ho honorable attitude. This time, Honor even gave in a bit!
Despite Glammerspear being the POV of this chapter, it felt like I was following along with all three of them. Good stuff.
There's a sheen of ice between all of them that's close to breaking, and It feels like they're getting to know one another so much more while also making on another better than before.
...I wonder if they'll end up becoming a permanent team in the far future...
...Honour, no life is 'disposable', we get it, your his guard leader, but Anon consider all of you more than that, to him, he sees all of you as his team, he wants to all of you grow with his work, together, because he CARES.
10654247
My thought exactly, something happened in her past to make her being overprotective on Anon right now, and since she's the ONLY one now who we don't know much about that, we might see in the next chapters.
After so much tension in the previous few chapters, between Huckleberry’s ill fated visit and a meeting with Hoofstrong which could have easily gone one way or another, the comfiness of this latest chapter was just the what was needed.
10654243
Many governments in our world pursued creating psychic soldiers. Magic would have made it more realistic.
10654329
The most important diolgue that I found revolved around revealing that Anon made a hobby out of inserting plugs into wild male stallions after his breakup.
10654355
Don't be silly, we all know that cars are girls.
10654357 As are rifles, ships, airplanes, and tanks.
10654360
French puts tanks, planes, ships, and trucks as masculine.
Cars, bikes and scooters are feminine, however.
10654357
by that logic I would have added one more to the harem, however the car is more like Anon's daughter if anything, though she hasn't been named yet. Surely the first ever steam powered automobile in Equestria needs a name? Maybe with a little plaque or somethin.
10654357
Christine approves.
Nice chapter Fun time ahead for some wile other tough it out...
I wonder when the car get good enough to get to the military/civilian circulation.
Funny how being nice to ones bodyguard seem to be a problem since there is a lack of problems she can point out First world problems indeed
Celestia and Luna will profit greatly from Anon... But should Cadance make a apperance? That guy needs to be laid! Seriously all work no fun? Burnout might come sooner than it should...
Anon training complication incoming? That men has to steel himself for his metal work
10654371 That's nice. We're not French, are we? Same reason I will still use a feminine pronoun for Bismark, although that one is more of hating her dick of a captain "strongly disliking" women and insisting Bismark is a he simply because of this dislike.
10654406
All German warships are masculine.
10654243
And the guardponies of 35PSY already know what those questions are...
10654409 And I wouldn't really mind this if it weren't for the fact that Nazis only believed women were a step above the people they were trying to exterminate by virtue of being able to bear sons. I'm not like a hardcore feminist or whatever, but come on. If you're going to call your warships as masculine, you need to have a reason beyond, "Women are barely better than Jews/anyone else who opposes our doctrine."
10654458
They hell did this conversation went the wrong turn ... ... ...
10654458
It's not a Nazi thing. It's a German thing. They're still masculine.
10654357
Actually some cars are male. Try it sometime and see what happens.
10654368
I think she is letting the jury decide. He may be useful to her goals but he also seems to be the type who many commanding officers would be glad to be rid of once he's outlived his usefulness.
lol
10654476
As a german I have to correct you there. Ships are generally considered female in german, even if they have male names. Though from what I know this is because Wilhelm II who was both interested in a strong navy and a fan of GB took the british custom and brought it to germany
I suppose getting kicked from the service would fix a few of her problems and make a few of her choices for her.
Nice.
10654473
Somewhere around Hamburg, apparently.
Someone's REALLY looking forward to her date
Gonna be brutally honest. Every 14E (and 14A) I've ever met has been has been a POG... and the 14E was fat.
- 19A
The talk about spark plugs and Mustangs got me thinking of the NFL. Imagine if Anonymous started talking about American Football and the Colts and Broncos. I bet that would definitely raise some eyebrows.
10654603
That's the joke. Every fatass POG thinks they're not a fatass POG because they can think of other, even fatter-assed POGs.
And there's been several mentions about Glamerspear being a bit on the thicc side.
Fun times!
10654604
I believe Admiral Biscuit wrote a vignette or two about Equestrians taking a liking to Handegg.
As a 35 series POG, I resemble that comment!
10654243
Don’t ask, the less you know about Pony Psychic Intelligence gathering by unicorns, the better.
I can almost guarantee that there were casualties and work related incidents in the development and training of unicorn specialists in that field.
Also, the attrition rate of that MOS must be incredibly high if the signing bonus is well-known outside of the POG MOS’s. Guarantee that they can’t keep the bonus if they don’t make the certification requirements for that job.
That, and they’re all crazy. Like, intelligence is crazy, baseline, but psychic intelligence unicorns? Absolutely off the wall. Imagine a whole team of unsocialized Twilight Sparkles nerding it up and picking peoples’ brains from a distance.
10654243
That would be the best placement. Or even more best than that, one might say.
I had a buddy in the army that was just like lily. Guy was a good bro, and you wouldn't want anyone else with you in a fire fight, but he really couldn't keep his pants up. He slept around so much he ended up getting 4 STDs, and he was married too. Key word was. But if you had something going on he'd be there for you no matter what. After my last deployment he stayed with me for a week, as it was a rough one and he wanted to make sure I was okay.
Lily on the other hand is more concerned with getting to her sugar daddy and getting railed by him than making sure her team mate is doing okay and doesn't have a mental breakdown and try to commit suicide, I've seen guys do that for less.
10654873
Normally I want to avoid spoiler talk, but I'll break that rule a bit to say that Honour Bound is not suicidal.
10654909
I was leaning towards Artemis having a break down. She had what she looked to consider her soulmate pretty much show her no thought or any regard at all to how she felt, and found out he didn't care for her as much as she thought he did.
Granted this is my take and perception of the situation from the events I've read; Your the author so you know the road your wanting this to go and I may have misperceived it.
changing all eight damn spark plugs in my Mustang
Lily had to respect a mare like that; especially one who, despite her own noble heritage, had enlisted as a common soldier first, then prestiged as a mustang into the officer corps.
I wonder what they would think he would do to Hoofstrong if they weren't there with that bit of information.
10654909
Not so much a spoiler as it is a relief. Thank you for that.
I have no shame in admitting I’ve spent the past few days reading this story and I can’t wait for more. Awesome work!
The big problem PSY has are certain mentalities make certain areas, never mind buildings extremely hazerdous to even consider?
All of them recieve birthday cupcakes from Pinkie Pie personally for starters?
As for changing the sparkplugs, good thing Anon wasnt a member of Veteran Plane club. Changing all 24/32 sparkplugs on Spitfire, especially if its the Survellance version with Griffin Engine 2650+ HP with jet exhaust mod?
10655291
A lord. The Blue Chamber is the second highest authority in Equestria, with only the Princesses above them. They seem to function like a more medieval version of ministers, with specialized roles to oversee and advice the Princesses. In Anonymous's case, this is engineering, and there are likely several lords of different elements of Equestria like agriculture, military and so on. While Anon doesn't have the direct authority over military, he does have the influence to go to the Grand Marshal, which is his equivalent in the military, and ask him to order Hoofstrong to give him what he wants. It wouldn't guarantee he'd actually get it, but it would certainly make life difficult for Hoofstrong, who would at the very least have to explain to the Grand Marshal why a fellow Lord just knocked on his door asking for a favour.
Honor doesn't get it, the Guards are there to provide Physical Security for the VIP,
The VIP's Job in a Social Situation it to provide Political Security for his Guards, when s/he can.
There should be "Training" with the VIP for Scenarios that involve moving the VIP to a "Safe Place", evacuating a from a site in conflict. So that if one of the Quaternon say "We need to go." then the Vip knows to follow with out argument. One of the First things That should happen when some one new gets a Guard escort should be to sit both the Guards, and the Guarded through a one week "VIP" training course so that both sides know what to expect.
I have it on good authority that cars come in both genders.
(Also, the one German warship I’ve heard of being referred to as masculine -- at least by its crew -- would be Prinz Eugen. I’m not aware of anything similar when it comes to the Bismarck.)
Hey!
10659465
You're quoting a POG with an actually fat plot
Ah, but I bet you'd excel at Games & Theory!
