Well the fic is finally the longest now, but at this rate seems far from over.

Taya got a lot of attention this chapter which turned out nice, would be interesting if she took up fleur's offer, Taya being a bitch and nav being a shit parent has always been something I feel bad about finding so funny.

And then there is that whole true self spell which must be coming soonish, I'm getting the feeling nav will come out very different or it'd be a huge waste of time and story. Just my prediction.

I personally have my fingers crossed that Nav keeps his masculinity after the spell, something about his character changing so drastically just doesn't sit right with me and it honestly made me feel good that he/she finally put their foot down about the girly bullshit and not being listened to.

Every time I read a character pronounce 'human' like that I want to smack them. 'Human' is not that hard to pronounce, assuming whatever language they're using sounds like english, but in any case we've seen it pronounced correctly often enough by other characters. Also, Hoo-man, just going by the spelling, I presume would sound like WHO-man, and who sounds different from hue. So really, any time I read a character pronouncing 'human' as 'hoo-man,' in this story or any other, it just makes them look like an idiot and/or racist.

Nav has always been a dick to Taya before, but this chapter felt outright cruel. Giving Taya hope that what she wants for Nav might actually happen and just generally giving Taya an amazing day, and then just completely shitting on those dreams immediately the next day, and then having Nav obliviously thinking that Taya is the one being a bitch in that situation and making her feel as if she's in the wrong just feels so... sleazy? Manipulative? Hypocritical? Are we gonna have an arc where Nav or someone close to him realizes that Nav and Taya's relationship is basically emotional abuse at this point? Something's gotta give here, and not frrom Taya's side.

Navarone said, that they are going to relax while in Canterlot, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Discord isn't making these encounters just because he/she/it.../they wishes to protect Navarone from Celestia, is Discord? I think, that most of the world is at peace now, so he has to create these... little situations to keep himself tocking.
Also: why do I get the feeling, that Death is going to refuse Nav's request?

Honestly I'm more disappointed in Nav. Maybe the very first time he popped up, I would have been freaked out. But after seeing how Discord was reacting, I would have been less hostile and more Respectful and acting like a Friend.

After all, he is the lord of Chaos, and chaos is not always bad and evil. As he pointed out to Nav once, if Nav had just asked him to be turned into a guy instead of being so hateful to him, Discord probably would have turned him back just for the heck of it.

Discord is ultra powerful, yes, but he is still a 'Being' with thoughts, emotions, and motives. And you can appeal to those.

I would love it if Discord showed up, and was respectful to Navi and the guests, and so Navi was respect back to him.

Keep in mind Nav never wanted anything to do with Taya after saving her. Everyone thought that it would be a lesson for him, where it's turned into him making a young filly version of himself. Nav is an emotionally irresponsible person and knows it. At this point Taya should realise it too, since she's been around Nav this long. She tries to force him (her? idefk anymore) to be a different person, so he does what he usually does and subconsciously messes with her.

You do remember the prologue of this story right. Yes, Nav is in Anonymous's form, but that doesn't mean it's entirely him. Discord himself is very manipulative and Nav being part of him probably makes him more so.
