Necromancy gets a bad rep.

Oh, sure, some ponies like the whole cliche of the evil zombie master, pulling his puppet strings to make corpses dance and kill for their amusement. And yeah, you kinda do have to work with dead bodies a lot, and most ponies find that a bit creepy. Oh, and you learn a lot of spells to kill things and gain power from it.

But, come on, that doesn't mean all necromancers are bad... right?

(for any G-fans, Xenilla is the kaiju you may know as Spacegodzilla. I changed the name because I got quirked about typing it repeatedly and am writing the story so it can at least be understood by just an MLP or just a G-fan; and thought it get very confusing that one character's name was just another character's name with an adjective. Also... don't pretend it's the most imaginative name Toho has every made)

Princess Changeling Rainbow Magic Pants, the beloved being from beyond Equestria's skies who also resides in a land flooded with magic much as if Starswirl the Bearded's basement was flooded, senses that Twilight Sparkle needs her help.

Now if only ponies would stop screaming or throwing up every time they laid eyes upon her.

Every Cutie Mark is the symbol of what makes a pony special. Brawler's Cutie Mark is a pair of Boxing gloves, representing hoof to hoof combat. Nopony's ever beaten him in a fair fight. Unfortunately this worries the ponies around him and after a rather complicated incident he is thrown in a dungeon. Years pass, and Brawler is freed when the enchantments on his cell are drained by Tirek. What will Brawler do with his new found freedom?
