I have a major announcement.

Just recently, I have written the ending to Brayside Crush. The story is finally complete.

Grant you, the remaining chapters are just drafts. There's a lot of fixing to do but I no longer have to worry about adding any new major content. While I obviously can't give away everything, this much I can reveal:

Finally making some headway again. I just finished the first draft for Brayside Crush Chapter 12. There's really only two major events left to write, the day of the festival itself and the aftermath. That means I will be able to put out at least Chapter 10 sometime in October once it goes through my editing.

Well, not exactly.

Unfortunately, a lot of RL stuff got in the way during August but most of it I've cleared. I actually have an art trade that has me writing a non-pony story in return. That I'll need to finish first but after that, most of my attention will be on finishing Brayside Crush. I'm not optimistic about getting a chapter out this month but more so finishing the series by year's end.

First off, yes, Chapter 8 came out last Saturday. I had just wrapped up the last of the edits the night before and decided to release it in time for the Memorial Day weekend as a surprise. That and I just wanted to stop fiddling around with it, especially with the AJ/Blitz storyline. There was plans for a lot more but there's too many things to juggle already and the story's pace is slow enough as is.

Hi fellow readers!

I had hoped to have Crush Chapter 6 edited and ready to go by the end of February. No such luck. I must have struggled writing it since I'm finding it uneven and sloppy. If I think I can finish cleaning up the chapter by month's end, I'll update this blog. Otherwise, I'll push the release date until April.

On a related note, I've written up to Chapter 11. If I had to guess, I'm about 70% done with the story.

For the final post of the year, three pieces of news.

1. Brayside Chapter 5 is pretty much finished save for editing. Because it had been part of Chapter 4, I had to add more story to it just so it wasn't excessively short. Expect it mid to late January. Big hint on what's in it: certain scenes I lifted directly from two of my comics. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, get caught up!

Right now, I'm doing everything I can to finish editing Chapter 4 of Brayside Crush so I can release it on December 19th. I can say this much; this forced me to split the one chapter I had written into two. It might end up being a good thing since where I cut it off makes it a cliffhanger ending.

A few days ago, I wrapped up editing Chapter 2. Therefore, I decided to release it on August 15th. As for Chapter 3, I'm hoping for the end of September. Everything after that becomes muddled because I cannot even think of putting out Chapter 4 without putting out the revised Return to Flight in its entirety. Unfortunately, that is still not finished in terms of editing and there's quite a bit to go with that project. It's a major roadblock that I'll need to tackle, eventually.
