There's some good news and bad news.
I'll go straight to the bad. I had slim hopes about having another Brayside Crush chapter ready by August. Thanks to a case of writers block, that won't happen. I am just about ready to reach the day of the festival itself but I'm questioning whether to keep the story's pace as is or speed it up. I'm leaning toward the latter since most of the interesting events happen at nighttime anyways. Going that route, I might just be able to squeeze an entire day into one extra long chapter. Considering the ending I have planned, I'll end up with roughly 15-16 chapters total and maybe, just maybe I can finally close this series by year's end. I'm sure you're like that... or not. Rainbow x Swift may finally be a thing or I could crush many hearts and torpedo that ship into the deep blue sea.
Now for something more positive! In my attempt to cure my writers block for Crush, I wrote an unrelated short story that involves Silver Spoon. I'll put that out by next weekend. Also, I started another short story involving Nurse Redheart but there's the bonus. It is set within the Return to Flight universe and it also has Rainbow and Swift. If I'm still struggling with Crush, I'll substitute a chapter release with this side story.
Finally, on the DA side, I might do a comic that reproduces a scene from the Return to Flight series. Also, among the art I've received over the last two months (Take me to art!), there's a picture that may be familiar. It is a spoiler so scroll down if you want to see it!

Don't rush it man. Better that we have to wait a few more months than to read an unworthy ending to this fantastic story. But if you will not make Swiftdash happen, I will ritually commit suicide with my keyboard while cursing your bloodline.
Wonder why there's no comics featuring Top Wings? That story had the most action scenes, it would be cool to see some of them.

Believe me boss, your ship is more believable and exciting than all of the CanonxCanon shippings on this site. Maybe I can relate only because I was in the same situation with my best friend about 3 years back, and we decided not to risk our friendship. Biggest mistake of our lives.
These series are the proof that not all OC ship stories are bad, and those who will give it one chance (like me) will agree. And I will do what I can to spread the word so SwiftDash can gain a larger audience.
3284327 Funny because one of my goals way back when was to show that I could have an OC interact with a canon character without any real potential for romance. I was actually doing well until I had readers interpret one scene well outside my intentions. You can thank those people for getting the ball rolling.
Good luck drawing in more people. I have to concede that all my work just isn't that popular. It's not the greatest and it has limited appeal but I will eventually finish this series. After that, I want to do mainly one shots.
