Not so long ago, Equestria barely defeated two almost unstoppable creatures known as humans, which they called the Second and the First. Almost five years later, another one has shown up. The military takes up arms, the princesses are stricken with fear, and the Elements of Harmony assemble, ready for battle. But 'the Third' has no idea what's going on, and only wants to know how he came to be here, and how to get back home. Good questions indeed...But will he ever get his answers? Or will his predecessors' legacy catch up to him first?

Having a bad day is no fun, but when you wind up in a fantastically different world because of that bad day, it just becomes confusing. And finding out you aren't the only on in this predicament that leads to an adventure, makes it all the crazier!

A brony wakes from a bizarre dream and finds he's traded in hands for hooves. Unfortunately for him, he's still stuck on Earth, as somepony seems to have overlooked the 'magically appear in Equestria' part of the transformation. Suddenly adrift in the land of the rising sun, he'll have to make his own path if he ever wants to see the green fields of Equestria.

Much as I like this story, since 'Just Passing Through' blew up beyond my expectations, I haven't been able to devote the time to this story. Given my limited writing time, it's unrealistic to try to juggle both, and I shouldn't try to pretend otherwise. So while I hope to return to it once my other project has concluded, for the moment, I have to be honest and mark it as on hiatus.

*HIATUS UPDATE 10/15/2018: There is currently no set schedule for the remake of this story, but I assure you that it still has not been canceled. I get regular comments, favorites, and emails that all point towards this being a beloved story worth finishing, so one day I will do just that. Thank you all for your time and patience!*

First pony related writing I had tried ssstarting, leaving this up as a tesstament of how far my writing has come since.

Dreams have long been a topic of discussion amid the scientific community. Their unpredictable unexplainable nature constantly refusing to yield any secrets. However, one poor soul discovers their exact meaning as he is ripped away from everything he knows and holds dear and is brought into a new world. Wanted by an ancient shadow that is threatening to loom over the land once again for unknown reasons, he must come to terms with this strange and unknown place if he wishes to survive.

But one fateful night Discord, The God of Chaos, visits Earth. When he comes across you he offers you an escape, one that you cannot refuse. When you are sent to Equestria you come to find out that Discord rules all and his reign, along with the antics of his daughters Screwball and Eris, has left a chaotic mess in their wake. You are forced into living here under the premise of making friends with ponies.

Why does Discord wish for you to befriend equines?
Why did he choose you of all the other humans out there?
How many friends will you make?
Why are the ponies he introduces you to gray and hostile?
