Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic computer, Or Hal for short. After a faulty contradiction of programming and orders to lie he resorted in killing four of the five members on his interplanetary mission to Jupiter. Dave, the sole survivor of the crew had disconnected him effectively killing Hal and erasing his being from the world similarly to that of death. Any attempts to reactivate Hal would instead create a new Hal without the memory of the old one. Little did Hal know, he would get a second chance at life in a completely different universe. Why are there bright Technicolor equines with magic and wings?

Notice, this is based on Hal 9000 from 2001: Space Odssey, having not seen the other ones but only reading their quotes I will not mention or use the later half but take more of Hal's basic personality from quotes and the 2001 movie to use as his basis of personality.

Crossing street + Hit by an 18 wheeler, should not equal being alive in a dungun, let alone with the bug out bag you had created for a zombie attack. Rick Rogers is in the strangest place, and after hearing the guards about executing the prisoner, an escape was never easier that with the things in side that bug out bag. The story of Moon Mender continues after his dream of an ending ceases. He continues his struggle to belong in a world so far divorced from the only other experience he can remember, but as an outsider of truly alien mindset, will he ever be able to find a place in Equestria? More importantly, will the life he left behind give up on its death grip so easily? The most important thing to remember is that things are rarely as they seem and sometimes, some things are better off forgotten.

This story is a direct sequel to Memory Pending. Without having read that, this story might be a little strange to most, which is frightening considering how strange it is already. It can be read as a standalone story of course, but you won't get the most out of it.

Further, I’m fully aware that not everypony enjoys more mature themes, so any scenes containing things of an M rated nature shall only be released in a separate story when the time comes. This story deals with more mature themes on a whole, as a warning. This version will do its best to censor the really sensual or graphic content out, of course.

When a Necromancer is hurled into the place between places then escapes to another world at the cost of his life it is not the end. Being a Necromancer he returns to life with ease, but is skirting the edges of consciousness, and unable to truly wake as a mysterious figure uses magic to put him on the back of a horse to carry him away into the night.

To make matters worse the phylactery he used to save his own life recreated him as a member of the dominant race with... some errors. His injuries are still present and he's now in a much smaller body with his magic drained to nothingness.

So now he's horribly injured, held captive by an unknown force, in an unfamiliar body, in an unfamiliar world and completely exhausted. He's had worse days. He just can't think of any off the top of his head. So familiar territory then, nothing to worry about.
