Months after Princess Twilight Sparkle's coronation, Princess Luna has learned to speak normal and more modern and has found a special somepony, only to have him taken from her by an unforeseen accident. But he left part of himself behind as Luna gives birth to an alicorn colt a few months after his death and Twilight's Coronation. Follow her son, Moon Dust's immortal life from the time he is but a little foal, whom everypony adores, to a rambunctious troublemaker in his kid years, and then to a brave strong alicorn stallion, defending his subjects, and the mare he loves, against the forces of evil that threaten them as a grown up.

What new adventures await him as he is taught the values of friendship? What will he learn from his experiences? And what does this reoccurring dream of some sort of machine running into him mean once he is older? Does his mom and Aunt Celestia possibly know? Only one way to find out. Please read and review. This story is told from my OC character's point of view, who is the main character, but some parts may switch to other ponies' points of view for certain scenes.

So Discord in all of his brilliance set a fail safe, if he were to lose a clone of him was to find the being closest to him in terms of chaos, and give that being his powers, memories and good looks. Important notes about the status of this story below

Ever wonder what Equestria's past was like? How did Celestia and Luna come to rule? And what made their rule a time of peace? Well I may have had something to do with that.

Name's Zack. I appeared in Equestria over 3000 years before the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" takes place. For whatever reason, a few months after my arrival, I was transported to the modern day Ponyville. What happened? Are the Princesses mad at me for disappearing like I did? I only helped establish the greatest country this world has ever seen and then vanished.

That... sounded more innocent in my head. Uh oh...

Just to let you know ahead of time, this is a ponified human, 1st person story. If you don't like it, don't bother.

Edit May 24th 2017: IMPORTANT! I am currently rewriting the entire story and with that, many details and aspects are set to change. As such, it will essentially be an entirely new story, meaning this version of Past, Present, and Future is technically Cancelled. There will be no more chapter updates until I finish the rewrite, meaning that this version will not have a proper ending. If it's requested enough, I may do some kind of Cliffnotes version of how the rest of the story was meant to play out, but for right now just know that if you start reading this version, you will not get an ending. Author Notes: Yes, this is a HIE story. Yes, I know how much people hate self inserts or anything similar to it. And yes, I don't care what people say about this. I'm writing this because I feel like it and nobody can stop me from doing it. To quote Eminem, "See you can hate 'em, he don't blame you frankly he would too." Since I can't use too many character tags, just assume I'll be using every character from the show.

(While I actually thought of the title and premise for this story by listening to Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation, the current cover art just seemed to fit the opening chapter better.)

Note that the Gore tag is simply because of things like characters getting stabbed, shot, etc... Nothing too graphic or descriptive, but better safe than sorry.

You can pick you friends but you can't pick family. This is all to true for Spike, Twilight can be a thorn in his side somtimes. "Get up it's amost noon." or "You didn't do it right, do it again." Or "Try this new potion out, don't worry this time you wont spontaneously combust this time." or she just wont give doesn't listen to him. It can get him so angry sometimes, but at the end of the day, they're still family. But what will happen when Spike and Twilight find out that a mentally broken dragon is Spike's blood related sister?

It's labeled sex because Spike's sister isn't very used to pony life.

Discord finds himself in need of a friend. He also knows the perfect dimension to find one. A dimension like no other, one with more Chaos and Disharmony. A dimension filled with chaotic "things" called humans. Lucky for Discord the only other thing that knows of this dimension wore a hat with jingle bells, and Discord hasn't seen that that guy in eight-teen years! Alas, when Discord goes to this dimension in search of a friend, he returns with something better... He returns with a son.

I was at a rave last night only to wake up in the middle of the woods and find myself befriending bunch of wooden wolves and mutated lions. Also to find out that i was some type of king to something called a "Everfree" Whatever that was.

I though of this story during class one day and wrote it down. This is just a quick work in progress to see if it works or not and to see if anyone likes it. There will also be new characters added new and or old.
