While re-shelving books at the library, Twilight discovers a journal she gave to Spike years ago contains stories about the great dragon hero Captain Invincible, who fights for Truth, Justice, and the Equestrian Way, defending the city of Ponytopolis from the diabolical Dr. Spectra and other assorted dangers.

There's just two problems: Spike clearly wanted the stories to be kept private, and Twilight just can't stop reading them.

She must learn to balance her life at home with her life on the other side of the veil, and fight to preserve her own sanity, and her own innocence.

She discovers that such a task is only possible through the magic of friendship.

After filing for bankruptcy, the Flim and Flam Cider Co. fades away, and with it their income.

With his younger brother working at an insurance firm in Canterlot, Flam settles down in Ponyville to get a job as a local salespony in Filthy Rich's Barnyard Bargains.

With Berry Punch and their amazing boss Sparkler, what could possibly go wrong?

The Pharaoh's Curse: A new mummy arrives at the Maretropolis Museum of a said to be cursed pharaoh.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?: Parallel chapter to "The Pharaoh's Curse," in which we see what Twilight and Applejack are up to while on vacation.

Starlight has a conversation with Pharynx about the significance of a changeling’s true form. In the process, she might just learn a thing or two about herself as well.
