S4E10: Game Stream (Mystic Version)

Inside the apartment, Sunset was setting up the GameStation with two player controls before connecting its wire to the television. She even prepared the livestream websites from her laptop, which is also connecting to TV as well. Both Wheelie and Brains prepared both snacks and drinks for not only her, but also her guests – Fluttershy, Tailtech and Icy.

While checking and making sure the wires are connected, Tailtech reported, “All is ready, Sunset.”

Sunset smiled, “Thanks, Tailtech. On with the show, everyone.”

Feeling nervous, Fluttershy stuttered, “I… I don’t know if I can do this.” Everyone gave ‘are you kidding me’ looks at her. She gulped while ruffling her hair, “I know I did well from performing stage with the help of my friends. But I’m still feeling nervous about livestream.”

Wheelie groaned in frustration, “Jeez, how long is she keep doing this? This gotta be crazy long gag ever.”

“Tell me about it,” Brains agreed, “When do you think she grow the spine?”

“Probably 80 years from now?” Wheelie teased.

Brains chuckled, “Oh yeah. That’s a good one. By the time she reached that age, she won’t able to do anything.”

Wheelie and Brains stifled their laughter amusingly about Fluttershy’s lack of confidence until she reached her old age. Needless to say, everyone was not amused by their jokes. This prompted Sunset to bring her batter to smack their heads.

The Minicons yelled in pain, “OW! What did I do?!”

Fluttershy looked embarrassed. Icy approached to comfort her, “It’s okay, Fluttershy. You can do this.”

Sunset nodded in agreement, “Yeah. I’ve seen your action, Fluttershy. This will be piece of cake. All you need to do is play the game and have fun.”

“You think so?” Fluttershy asked hopefully.

“We know so,” Sunset and Icy said supportively.

Touched by her friends’ supports as Fluttershy smiled, “Thanks, everyone.”

“So, shall we get started?” Tailtech asked calmly as he readied with the laptop.

Sunset smiled happily as she placed the headgear over her head. Both Fluttershy and Icy did the same thing as well. Three of them are now holding the game control while taking their seat. They turned to Tailtech.

“We’re ready, T.” Sunset said happily.

Tailtech smiled happily as he readied the livestream recording, “We’re going on live. In 3… 2… 1… Action!”

With the push of a button on the keyboard, Tailetch has initiated the livestream video from laptop. It now shows the digital codes-like background appeared with the logo of chibi-Sunset Shimmer, which winked at the screen. He then does wiggle his finger, gesturing ‘your next’ at Sunset.

Nodding calmly, Sunset smiled while waved at the camera, “Welcome to "ShimmerCode", my game channel! I've decided to take a break from racking up crazy-high scores to introduce my friends, Fluttershy and Icy, to gaming.”

“HURRAH! I’M IN THE GAME!” Icy cheered happily, surprising everyone.

Timid as usual, Fluttershy quietly cheered, “Yay, games.”

“Okay, girls, your pick. What’ll it be?” Sunset asked calmly.

Fluttershy and Icy looked through some of video games, which has the Rise of Tirek, Tirek’s Revenge, Three Kingdoms of Demons, Cyber Adventure, The Haunted Carnival, the Crimson Lady of Paris and so on. Icy was very excited with action games while Fluttershy looked nervous and worried.

“Let’s play this game – Tirek’s Revenge!” Icy exclaimed happily while holding the case.

“Uh… How about this game? The squirrel one?” Fluttershy suggested while holding the ‘Squirrel’s Acorn Delivery’ cover.

Icy gave annoyed glare at her, “Are you serious? I thought you loved Tirek’s Revenge.”

“I did. It was quite fun and scary. But fun.” Fluttershy admitted sheepishly. She then explained, “But I’m pretty sure everyone played this game a lot. Sunset doesn’t like to play the same game for too many times.”

Sunset nodded understandingly, “Fluttershy’s right. Everyone played Tirek’s two games many times while we are still waiting for the third and final game - Tirek the Conqueror. So, we’ll go with Fluttershy’s suggestion.” Fluttershy smiled happily while Icy gave annoyed looks. Picking up her shy friend’s case, the amber-colored teenager placed the CD into console. She then looked at the video, “I usually play more advanced games, but what my guest player picks, we play. This will be... easy.”

Fluttershy smiled happily, “Time to press some buttons. Whee.”

Icy sighed, “This is going to be the most boring game ever.”

As soon as the screen revealed the intro of ‘Squirrel’s Acorn Delivery’, Sunset smiled with excitement tone, “Here we go!”

Standing on the computer desk, Wheelie snickered playfully, “Yeah. She’s gonna whoop the game.”

“Yup. Don’t mess with this pro gamer,” Brains remarked teasingly.

Both Minicons stifled their laughter, prompting Tailtech whacked their heads with the book. They yelped in pain softly. They glared at him, who shushed at them while gesturing at the girls, who were about to play the game. They grumbled while keeping their mouth shuts.

The boys turned and looked at the laptop’s screen, which has Sunset’s green squirrel, Icy’s white one and Fluttershy’s blue on the ground, along with the acorns on the ground as they prepared to climb on the tallest treehouse, which has the basket of acorns hanging on the branch. The game bars have six acorns silhouette. The girls are readied to play the game, though Icy helped turn upside-down game control before passing back to Fluttershy, who nodded happily.

Looking at the screen, Sunset smiled confidently, “The gameplay here is actually very simple. Get your squirrel to climb the tree…”

While pressing her game control, her green-colored squirrel grabbed the acorn before climbing up the tree. Unintentionally slipped her fingers, it caused the brown mammal to fall down hard. It recovered from dizziness. She grumbled a bit as she tried to move the squirrel to get up, but instead it threw off the acorn to fall on its head. She tried again but the squirrel did the opposite way – hopping.

Fluttershy hummed, “Like this?”

Using her game control, Fluttershy easily moved the squirrel to climb up spirally to the top, where it dropped the acorn into the basket at ease.

“Uh… yeah.” Sunset said in uncertainty tone.

Icy hummed while looking at the screen, “Can’t be that hard.” She tried with her game control, making the squirrel carry the acorn before climbing up the tree forward. It almost fell if she hadn’t quickly made the squirrel to throw it at the basket. She sighed in relief, “Okay. That was too close.”

The girls continued playing the video game. Fluttershy smiled happily as she easily got all six types of nuts into the basket at ease. Though struggled to control her squirrel’s movement, Icy managed to get three into hers. Sunset, frustrated and annoyed, is still unable to get one.

“What do you want from me?! TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED!” Sunset screamed in frustration and anger at the screen. Seeing her squirrel still failed to get one into her basket, she cried and sobbed in tears before covered on the sofa, “WHY… Why me… Why!!!”

Gaining the upper hand, Fluttershy happily controlled her blue squirrel to dodge and evade the falling branches until she caught six special acorns. Barely got all six in the basket, Icy grunted as she struggled to get hers to dodged the falling branches, though it got injured for five times. She managed to get six special acorns. Both of them moved their squirrels to climb to the top and threw all of them into the basket. The screen ended with Fluttershy’s and Icy’s squirrels cheered happily while Sunset’s critter frowned unhappily.

Fluttershy smiled happily for having so much fun and winning the game. Icy sighed in relief before lying against the sofa as she had never felt so exhausted and tired from playing the game. Sunset gawked dumbfoundedly to see everything. The boys have the same reaction as hers as well.

“Did I do it right?” Fluttershy asked.

Icy sighed, “As far as I know, it looks like we did alright. Didn’t think this game could be that tough.” She turned and looked at Sunset, who is still gawking. She asked in concern, “Uh… Sunset? You okay?”

“That was…” Sunset said in astounded tone. She cheered, “…Amazing!”

Everyone was surprised by Sunset’s reaction. They were expecting to take the loss serious as she hated losing, but not her cheering for Icy and Fluttershy.

Passing the game control to Fluttershy, Sunset pleaded, “Can I watch you play it again?”

Fluttershy smiled happily as she agreed to play the game again. Sunset looked excited and happy to watch her playing it. Icy didn’t seem to mind but watch. The boys were still astounded and disbelief to see it before looking at each other.

“What just happened?” Tailtech asked.

Brains shrugged, “No clue. She took this loss very well.”

“I think she’s broke now.” Wheelie remarked in concern, “The Goddess of Warrior is lost now…”
