S3E3: The Fastest Swimmer Alive

At the beach, Aqua was relaxing and sleeping peacefully while lying down on the bench chair. After long weeks of overseeing and coaching her students' progress in sports, she decided to get a good rest at the beach, without being bothered until…

"I'm the best swimmer, Zappy!"

"As if! I am the best swimmer, Crash! Everyone knows that! You should ask Blazefist!"

"No way! Everyone knows that I'm good at swimming! After all, I was trained by Aqua! She's the best swimmer and surfer in the world! So, you do not wanna mess with me!"

"So what?! My bro did much better than you think, punk! He's the best swimmer. After all, Crystal Prep Academy did win most of Friendship Games!"

"The hell it is! I am the best swimmer!"

"I am!"

"I am!"

Hearing the argument from two people, it's driving Aqua crazy and mad as she's unable to get some peace and quiet for her sleep. She groaned in frustration as she got up from the bench chair. She marched out, following the noise of argument.

Aqua arrived to her destination, where she spotted Indigo Zap and Rainbow were arguing and shouting at each other. Fluttershy and Applejack were holding Rainbow while Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest held Indigo back as well. Blazefist mediated and calmed down the two of them.

Indigo worn blackish surfer suit with cyan pattern and symbol of lightning on her middle of suit. Sour Sweet worn white and greenish colored bikini. Lemon Zest worn yellowish colored swimsuit. Blazefist was wearing blackish surfer suit with blazing flame pattern around him.

"Would somebody tell me what the hell is going on?!" Aqua demanded angrily and furiously, scaring almost everyone else.

Blazefist panicked and stuttered in fear, "O-Oh! Hey honey! Good to see you around!"

"Yeah! What are you doing here?" Rainbow asked in surprise, "I thought you were sleeping."

Indigo nodded in agreement, "Yeah. You did say that you want to take a break from coaching sports."

"I was…" Aqua grumbled angrily and annoyingly, with angry vibe on her head, "Until two couple of brats were making noise! A very loud noise!"

Sweatdrop in embarrassment, everyone yelped in concern, "Sorry about that."

Aqua sighed, "Well, since I'm up and here, wanna explain what is this about?"

Rainbow and Indigo scoffed in annoyance while looking away. Blazefist, Applejack, Fluttershy, Sour Sweet and Lemon Zest sighed in annoyance about it. This surprised and confused Aqua.

"Well, we were talking about who's the best swimmer," Applejack commented dryly.

Fluttershy nodded, "But Rainbow and Indigo gotten into argument about you and Mr. Blazefist for being the best swimmer."

"Yeah. It was wild and crazy, man if we didn't stop and hold our friends off," Lemon Zest added, "Wow. Guess everyone wasn't kidding about these two being trained by the best."

"Yeah. I'm astounded," Sour Sweet answered sweetly before gave sour looks. She grumbled, "Not. As if…"

"All this about who's the best swimmer?" Aqua asked in disbelief, "This must be a joke."

Blazefist sighed, "Tell me about it. They haven't reach the conclusion at all…"

"Yeah, no kidding!" Rainbow agreed. She turned and glared at Indigo, "I'm telling you again that my coach is the best swimmer!"

"Not a chance, Crash! My bro is!" Indigo snapped angrily, "Why don't you just admit that mine is the best?!"

Rainbow groaned, "As if!"

Rainbow and Indigo were about to start the fight but they got held back by their coaches. Everyone sighed in annoyance about their crazy fight.

"Okay, enough with this," Aqua said firmly and seriously, "In fact, I don't give a damn about who's best swimmer. I just enjoy swimming. It's kinda my hobby. That's all."

Blazefist nodded in agreement while crossed his arms, "I'm with her. In fact, Indigo, I trained you to be a swimmer, so that you can save yourself and others from getting drowned. And my training is not for competition, got that?"

Rainbow and Indigo groaned a bit of disappointment, "Got it…"

Seeing two girls disappointed of now showing who is the best swimmer, Aqua sighed in annoyance while rolled up her eyes, "You know what? Why don't you two race together?"

Everyone was confused and surprised. Blazefist hummed, "You're not suggesting them to have a swimming competition around this beach?"

"Why not?" Aqua asked playfully, "They wanna see who's the best swimmer. After all, we did train them."

"I don't know. This might not be a good idea especially in the beach. We might as well have a competition in the pool than here."

"Hey, come on, honey. It's just a race. It wouldn't hurt them."

"And also, shutting up these two about this," Applejack added, making the rest agreed.

Lemon Zest sighed while setting up her headset, "Yeah. Somebody would like to have some peace and quiet in the beach…"

Blazefist sighed, "Fine. I supposed it won't hurt to have a race." Everyone cheered wildly and happily. He groaned, "I am so gonna regret this…"

Blazefist, Aqua and the rest of young girls were gathered at the shore. Both Rainbow and Indigo were stretching and warming up, preparing to start the swimming competition. Either of them can't wait to start and prove one of their coaches is the best swimmer for training them.

"Okay, here's how it goes. We start swimming from this shore to that large rock. Go around it and come back here." Aqua explained while pointed at the large rock, which was about 20meters ahead. She smirked, "First one to score 5 times wins the race. Does that sound challenging to prove which one of us the best swimmer?"

"Cool…" Rainbow and Indigo remarked in amazement.

Blazefist hummed in concern, "I don't know about this. This sounds too much."

"They could get hurt," Fluttershy said in concern.

Lemon Zest looked at the large rock, "Not to mention, that rock looked very sharp and bigger too."

"You worry too much. I can handle it," Rainbow commented determinedly.

Indigo nodded, "I've done much more dangerous than this. This is so nothing."

"Cocky, aren't they?" Applejack remarked in concern.

Sour Sweet scoffed while crossed her arms, "You think?"

"Don't worry, Blazefist. I've got this," Indigo said confidently and proudly to concerned Blazefist, "No way I can be beaten that easily."

Blazefist hummed in uneasy tone, "I know. But that doesn't make me better." Seeing Indigo upset, he sighed as he patted her head gently, "Just be careful, okay?

Indigo smirked confidently, "You got it, coach!"

Rainbow gave thumbs up to Aqua, "I've got this, Aqua."

Aqua smiled, "I'm sure you do. Show them what a tiger made of."

Both Rainbow and Indigo positioned themselves on the beach shore. The rest of their friends stayed behind them.

"On your mark… Get set… Go!" Sour Sweet shouted out loud.

Rainbow and Indigo rushed off straight to the sea. 3 – 5 meters ahead, both of them dived and began swimming very fast and swift yet wild. They're both heading straight to the large rock as their coaches have instructed. The rest of their friends cheered and applauded out loud for their friends to win it.

Due to them being trained and coached by both Blazefist and Aqua, both Rainbow and Indigo have proven themselves to be fast and swift enough to swim towards the large rock. They make a big roundabout of before making their way back to the shore. They did the same routine for 3 times. Their own friends cheering and supporting them to win.

"Gotta admit it. We really did well for training them the best," Blazefist commented amusingly.

Aqua scoffed a bit, "Of course. After all, they're our students."

"Now the question is how will be the victor?"

"I certainly don't think it's you for sure."

"Hey!" Blazefist shouted playfully, feeling offended, "Is that supposed to be challenging?"

Aqua smirked teasingly, "Maybe, Mr. Blaze."

Both Rainbow and Indigo are on the final round now. They're giving out the best they have now. They have just swum around the large rock. They're now making their way back to the shore. However, they have suddenly becoming tired and exhausted yet continued swimming due to them have used up their energy to swim for almost 5 rounds from shore to the large rock.

While continued swimming; Rainbow, grown tired and exhausted, accidently slap and drag Indigo's leg down. This has caused both of them to lose their balance and unable to swim properly as if they're about to get drown. The rest of their friends gasped in shock and concern of what they just saw.

"Oh no!" Fluttershy exclaimed in concern.

"We've gotta help them now!" Lemon Zest exclaimed frantically.

"Thank you for being obvious!" Sour Sweet shouted in fear.

"Come on! Let's go now!" Applejack exclaimed firmly.

And just before four of them could do anything, both Blazefist and Aqua rushed and dived into the ocean. They both swam straight towards drowning Rainbow and Indigo. Both of their students unable to get themselves and submerged into depth. They both dived down at once. They gone straight towards both Rainbow and Indigo as both of them continued submerging down.

And just in time, both coaches managed to grab and caught up on their students. They swam back to the surface. While holding tight on Rainbow and Indigo, both Blazefist and Aqua swam all the way back to the shore in time.

Blazefist and Aqua both performed some CPR on their students for almost five times. The rest of their friends watched helplessly and hopelessly. Both Rainbow and Indigo coughed out, waking up at once. They breathed and panted heavily and frantically. They were patted and comforted by their friends.

Rainbow groaned, "Man, what happen?"

"You both almost drowned," Blazefist explained, "Luckily, we saved you guys in time."

"Now, I remember! This is your fault, Crash!" Indigo snapped at Rainbow. She continued, "if you hadn't drag me down, we wouldn't be drowned!"

"Hey! That wasn't my fault for getting tired!" Rainbow snapped back, "Maybe if you had noticed, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

Indigo snarled angrily, "Why you!"

"Enough!" Aqua snapped firmly, "It doesn't matter now. As long you're both alive and alright, then everything's alright. Got it?!"

Blazefist nodded, "Yeah. But we do learn that swimming ocean too far might not be good idea."

Rainbow and Indigo sighed in annoyance, "Fine…"

"Well, at least, we know who's the fastest swimmer in the world," Lemon Zest commented playfully.

Fluttershy nodded, "I agreed."

"Who is it?!" Indigo and Rainbow asked hopefully.

"Both of them, duh," Sour Sweet answered with a scoff.

"Yup. Both Aqua and Blazefist are the best swimmer," Applejack commented, "They really coached you guys well."

"I knew it! I was right!" Rainbow and Indigo exclaimed happily. They turned and glared at each other, "Hey?! What do you mean you're right?! I was right! You're not! My coach is the best swimmer!"

Rainbow and Indigo have gotten into a fierce argument again about who's the best swimmer. This annoyed and frustrated everyone about this.

"I thought A.J. and Dash have the worst rivalry to deal with," Blazefist commented dryly.
