S2E16: Suit Up!

Dragon Strike Force, Mane Seven, Cutie Mark Crusaders, Lance and Flash were gathered at control room of the secret laboratory. They were chatting and discussing, wondering about what kind of surprise that Shorty and his sisters have stored for them. Some were excited and happy about it. Others were nervous and worried.

Eventually, Shorty and his sisters have arrived via entering the control room's door. They even brought along the rectangle box-like with tarpaulin sheet covering it.

"Greetings, everyone. Thank you all for coming here," Shorty greeted warmly and calmly. He turned and looked at his sisters. They both nodded firmly and calmly while holding tight on the plastic cover. He smiled in relief before cleared his throat, "Now without further all due. Allow me to present you all to my latest inventions! Our new battle suits!"

As signaled, both Asami and Ciel pulled down the tarpaulin sheet down as they're revealing the blackish battle suit-like with armored chest, shoulder pads, battle gauntlets, knee pads and boots. Everyone awed at the battle suits' designs. Some were impressed and amazed by the designs while others were not.

"So, it's a suit?" Rainbow asked in unimpressed with her crossed arms, "Seriously, Shorty. Don't you think we already have own suits when we used the geodes?"

Pinkie nodded playfully with a giggle, "She has the point. And probably, the next few Equestria Girls Specials, we're gonna have new suits sooner or later!"

Aqua approached and gave Pinkie and Rainbow a pulling ears very hard, making them yelped and yelled in pain. She groaned and glared at them, "You both need to learn how to listen and try first, then comment later. Or else, you're asking for troubles."

"Sorry, coach!" Rainbow and Pinkie yelled in pain.

Sunset hummed in concern, "They may have the points. Why do we need them? I mean we're gonna use the geodes and the transformation sooner or later."

Shorty smiled calmly, "I'm glad you asked. Allow me to explain, this battle suit is not designed for some kind of fashion shows, but actually serve as both host and amplifier for geode's powers and transformation." His explanation shocked and surprised his friends. He continued, "That's right. By using the geode on your battle suit's collar, it helps you to handle and control its powers to fight and engage the enemies at battlefield. As for the transformation, it will power up your suit into battle armors-like and still armed with your elemental powers. And of course, it allows you magically to summon and use your own weapons to fight them. Interestingly, the battle suits won't be destroyed easily and also quite flexible."

Applejack hummed, "That's nice and all, but how good is the suit?"

Twilight nodded in agreement, "Have you tested it?"

"Uh, no..." Shorty admitted sheepishly, making everyone groaned in annoyance. He continued, "But, with you all here, we can try out and see how good it really is? If there is a flaw, I will fix and improve it. So, who would like to try it?"

"I'll be the one," Aqua volunteered, "I'm the toughest girl you can count on."

"Can I try it? I would like to play with it!" Pinkie asked happily.

Applejack nodded, "I wouldn't mind to try it first. I wanna see how strong with this suit is."

Shorty hummed thoughtfully, "Who to choose?"

If Shorty chose Aqua...

Asami and Ciel helped Aqua to suit up. She grunted and grumbled a bit, feeling tight on her suit. She then found her suit's blank colors turned into blue colored, surprising everyone. She was impressed and amazed by it.

"Blue is definitely my favorite color," Aqua commented happily, "Alright, I'm ready to surf."

Shorty smiled, "Glad you like it. But let's test it out first. To training room if you don't mind, Aqua."

Aqua nodded calmly and firmly. She exited the control room's as she climbed down the stairs and arrived at the training room. The room is completely blank with squared shapes on walls, ceilings and even floor. She took a deep breathe before armed herself for the fight.

"Okay, Shorty. I'm ready! Give me the best shot!" Aqua challenged proudly and determinedly.

Shorty's voice spoke, "Alright. Just remember, Aqua, the suit is just a prototype. I want to test its function and ability. Try not to go overboard like Rainbow Dash."

"Hey! I can hear you!" Rainbow's voice exclaimed in annoyance.

Aqua smirked confidently, "No worries, Shorty. I've got this. Bring on the baddies."

As commanded, Shorty began pressing some buttons on his control consoles, summoning and launching the holographic forms of Dark Mystic Troopers. They all armed and aimed their blasters at Aqua, who remained calm and confident. As she stretched her hands out, she summoned her Tiger Claws. She charged in as she fought and battled against them fiercely and determinedly.

Suddenly, she felt something shot at her from back. She turned and found more of Dark Mystic Troopers sniping and shooting at them from their distance and hidden blocks. She smirked confidently, causing her geode to glow brightly. She swung and deflect the blasts off while firing and shooting both Water Shot and Water Torpedo Shards at the soldiers. And at the same time, she fought and defeated most of enemy troops on the ground.

As Aqua fought and battled the enemy troops bravely and determinedly, she soon find herself overwhelmed by more of her enemies. She grunted in pain as she struggled to fight and push them back as hard as she can, despite the Elemental Geode of Water was on her side. Eventually, she got swarmed and swallowed up by the large army of Dark Mystic Troopers.

Everyone, inside the control room, gasped in shock and concern of what they just saw. And just before they could do anything, they saw a bright light glowing among the swarms of Dark Mystic Troopers. It then blasted off the blue colored beam to the sky while repelling and knocking them off, followed by the flooding.

Within the blue light, it revealed Aqua, still in her battle suit, worn her dark bluish battle armor with chest plate of Tiger Clan Symbol and trimmed fur on edges, loincloth around her waist, armored gauntlets and boots, and tiger-like battle helmet is now armed with armored and fierce tiger claws. Her eyes were glowing in bright light. Everyone awed in amazement at the sights.

Upon glaring at her enemies, Aqua gave a loud battle cry, causing the ground shaking and summoning tidal wave out, flooding and overflowing the whole chamber with enemy troops struggling to escape it. They all soon dissolved and faded away. Witnessing her enemies gone, Aqua slowly made the flood dissolve and submerged to the ground. And at the same time, her armor disappeared and returned her to normal. She took a deep breathe from fighting the enemies.

Aqua smiled confidently, "How do I do?"

"Incredible! Well done, Aqua. The battle suit's function works well!" Shorty's voice exclaimed happily, "Thank you, Aqua."

Aqua sighed, "Happy to help, Shorty..."

If Shorty chose Applejack...

Wearing her battle suit, Applejack's now inside the training room. She then placed the geode on her suit's collar. Still waiting and feeling the power, she hummed in confusion and uncertainty as she doesn't feel any different.

"Shorty, you sure that it's working?" Applejack asked in confusion, "I don't feel anything."

"Be patient, Applejack. It will come around. It takes some time," Shorty's voice said calmly.

Still unconvinced that her powers would come, Applejack sighed, "Fine. So, what's next?"

"We're gonna take it slow, Applejack. The last thing we need is to have you get injured from your training," Shorty's voice said calmly and firmly, "We'll go from dumbbell to barbell to heaviest of all. Are you ready?"

Applejack smiled while clenching her grip of fists, "I'm ready. Let's do this!"

"Just don't push yourself. Let's begin!" Shorty's voice responded firmly.

As commanded, the dumbbell appeared before Applejack. She scoffed confidently, grabbing and lifting up the dumbbell up for the moment. She put it down. Suddenly, more of dumbbells with different kind of sizes appeared. She smirked with a scoff as she began lifting them one-by-one at ease.

Soon, they all were replaced by barbells with different kind of sizes. She lifted them at ease. However, she came across the difficulty. Starting with 15kg, she struggled to lift it up. Thanks to her geode's glowing, she managed to lift it up at ease. She then lifted up with the rest of barbells. Shorty continued sending more different items, furniture, tools, transports and more heavy items. As Applejack lifted them one-by-one again, her geode continued to glow brightly in orange color.

As she struggled to carry a military tank, Applejack gave the loud battle cry, causing her geode to glow brightly. She was engulfed by bright orange light as she undergo the transformation. Her battle suit is now filled dark blue colored armor in Texas Style with crimson skirt, brownish gloves, golden boots and armored battle hat. She screamed out loud as she lifted the bus up high for the moment. She panted heavily before putting it down.

"Nice work, Applejack! I've got the results. It works perfectly," Shorty's voice reported in relief, "And thank goodness that your back didn't get hurt."

Applejack smiled while dusting off her gloves, "This is nothing. I haven't broken a sweat. I can do this everyday."

"Well, better hope it's not the gigantic Cybertronian that you have to carry," Twilight's voice joked amusingly, "It might break your back."

Applejack groaned, "Very funny, Twilight. Very funny..."

If Shorty chose Pinkie Pie...

After wearing her battle suit, Pinkie was bouncing and hopping around happily and playfully. She cheering and squealing out wildly.

"Okay, okay, okay, Pinkie. No need to get excited," Shorty's voice said firmly and calmly, "This is just a test, not party. Try not to ruin the suit. It's a prototype. Okay?"

Pinkie giggled, "Don't worry, Shorty. I'll take care of it. And then, we party hard!"

Shorty's voice sighed, "Yes. We'll party later. Shall we get started?"

Pinkie squealed happily and wildly, "I am!"

"Just remember, Pinkie. Your power is creating explosion from some sweets," Shorty's voice said calmly, "Though it is your strength and power, there is a weakness in it. You won't able to find and use the sweets against the enemy."

Pinkie groaned, "Party Popper..."

"Fortunately, the battle suit is able to help you summon and create the explosive sweets at the enemies."

"Really?"

"Simple. By using your imagination, the battle suit would able to assist the geode's power to create explosive sweets to engage the enemies. But just remember, this suit's design for your geode's powers. Are you ready?"

"Bring on the baddies!"

As ordered, the army of Dark Mystic Troopers appeared and aimed their weapons at Pinkie. She screamed and panicked in fear and agony. She ran off for her life. They all chased after her at once. Her friends were in shock and disbelief of what they just saw, though they remained confident and hope that she would able to overcome it.

As Pinkie was fearfully running for her life, she did her best to activate her geode's powers by imagining about the sweets she enjoyed. Her hands glowed brightly in pink color, summoning the sweets she liked the most. And at the same time, it the created explosive energy within the sweets. Seeing her powers have been activated, she turned and threw them at couple of Dark Mystic Troopers. They're all got hit exploded into pieces. She gasped in surprise and happy before forming sinister smirk while armed with her magical explosive sweets.

Dark Mystic Troopers screamed and panicked in fear, running for their lives. Pinkie charged and chased after them as she was firing both Party Bazooka and Explosive Sweets at them.

The more she used against them, the stronger and brighter the geode glowing in pinkish lights. Eventually, Pinkie's battle suit transformed into bluish armored dress with pinkish heart shape, purple blue colored armored gauntlets and boots, and has a yellowish large ribbon on her back. As she imagined the largest sweet on her hands, Pinkie unleashed the largest explosive sweet. She threw it upon them, unleashing powerful and deadly explosions. It engulfed everything within its pinkish light, blinding everyone.

For the moment later, the bright light dispersed and returned to normal. Returned to normal, Pinkie was standing with dancing pose on top of defeated Dark Mystic Troopers.

"TADA!" Pinkie declared happily. She then noticed something amiss. She found the whole training room was destroyed. She even found the control room was badly damaged as well. Her own battle suit was badly damaged as well. She looked awkward and embarrassed by it. She giggled uneasily, "Might have gone overboard..."

Shorty's voice screamed in anger, "PINKIE PIE! I NEEDED THAT!"
