S4E9: Schedule Mix-Up!

A year has passed…

After their winter vacation, spring is upon them. Teenagers and children are returning to the school, continued not only their studies but also reuniting and teaming with their friends and lovers back. All were given with timetables, which were provided by Vice-Principal Luna and Assistant Spell Nexus. Once received, the students now headed off to their classes. Teachers are arriving at the classroom, begin their teachings.

Inside the principal's office, Spell Nexus made the report to Principal Celestia. His report involved of students and teachers' attendances, as well as provisions, supplies and books have been accountable.

After reading the reports, Principal Celestia smiled warmly, "Thank you for the report, Mr. Nexus. You may return to your position."

Spell Nexus nodded firmly, "Yes, ma'am." He also shown his concerns as he spoke, "If I may, ma'am?"

"Yes, go on. Something bothering you?"

"I've checked some of students' timetables. Some don't seem right for them especially our top students. This might cause some inconvenience to us."

"Don't worry too much, Nexus. I've checked the timetables thrice from last week. Everyone is in the right place," Principal Celestia assured Spell Nexus.

Still having doubts, Spell Nexus sighed reluctantly, "As you wish. If it goes wrong, please inform me to reschedule them. I will make sure they are in order."

"Of course, Mr. Nexus." Principal Celestia said understandingly.

With Spell Nexus, Principal Celestia, using paging microphone, announced her usual greeting and welcoming the students back to the school.

Principal Celestia announced, "Welcome to another exciting school year at Canterlot High. As you settle into your new classes, please make sure everything's in order. All final schedule changes must be made by the end of the day." Turning it off, she sighed calmly, "I am certain that everything is-!"

CRASH! Principal Celestia was alerted by the noise. She looked up and found the door got stuck by Main Six and Dragon Strike Force (mostly Shadow Dragon, Terrorcreep, Saber Dragoon, Shorty Thinking and Flare Tiger), who were all trying to get inside the office while shouting and panicking. They suddenly got pushed out by Spell Nexus, who gave 'I told you so' look at Principal Celestia.

Principal Celestia sighed, "Fine…"

"As I've said before, they're not pleased with the schedule," Spell Nexus reported. He turned to the students, "Would you like to explain why?"

"I was supposed to be in wood shop with Pinkie Pie, not frou-frou paintin' time with nobody." Applejack explained while showing her schedule.

"I only signed up for drama to be with Rarity and Terrorcreep, but they weren't there. Which was very dramatic, but for all the wrong reasons." Fluttershy reported.

Terrorcreep sighed, "Yes. We were surprised and confused. Instead of drama class, both Rarity and I are on science class."

Shorty shrugged, "No clue. Not like she actually has a brain for science class." Rarity buffed angrily as she kicked at his shin. He yelped in pain, "OW! OW! OW! That hurt!"

Rarity stuck her tongue at him, "Serves you right for being rude to me."

Shadow Dragon sighed, "Yeah. It's kinda mess up with our timetable, Principal Celestia."

"Don't suppose you can help sort this out?" Twilight requested.

After writing down their complains, Principal Celestia smiled, "Don't worry. I'll sort it out."

"Ma'am, I think it would be wise to recall all the schedules, so we can check and placed the subjects correctly for everyone," Spell Nexus suggested.

Principal Celestia scoffed, "Don't worry about that. This is just minor. Give me a second."

Stretching and cracking her fingers, Principal Celestia pressed couple of keyboard's buttons, changing timetables. Aftermath, she then printed them out from the printer. She passed all of them to the students. They all chattered happily about their new timetables, though Shorty and Rarity gave stern glares at each other, still unable to forgive each other.

The students exited out of the principal's office, heading for their class. Principal Celestia smiled warmly to see them happy. She turned and found Spell Nexus gave his annoyed looks at her.

"What?" Principal Celestia asked in confusion.

Rarity and Saber are now inside the wood shop. They both worn protective gears of goggles, ear muffler and gloves. They were both shocked and confused, watching some students including Zephyr Breeze were working and testing their own projects.

Rarity groaned in confusion, "This is the strangest math class I've ever been in."

Carefully inspecting the students' doing with the work, Saber hummed while crossed his arms, "Rarity, this is wood shop, not math class."

"You mean we are at the wrong class?!" Rarity asked in disbelief. Saber nodded in confirmation while looking at his timetable. She sighed, "No wonder I didn't see Shorty here."

"Miss him?" Saber teased.

Using her handbag, Rarity whacked Saber's head, "As if! He and I are done, detective. Do not forget that!"

Saber groaned in pain while rubbing his head, "Yeesh. Somebody needs some chill pill."

In the kitchen, some of the students were trying to cook their own recipe. Rainbow struggled with stirring and mixing the pot of baking powder. Fluttershy was checking on the oven as she was baking some cookies. Flare Tiger was reading the cooking book to make sure they got the right recipe.

Checking on timetable, Rainbow hummed in concern, "Huh. Sunset should be in here."

Heard what she has said, Flare Tiger checked on hers, "Yeah. You're right, partner. I wonder what kept her?"

"You don't suppose Principal Celestia got us the wrong timetable again?" Fluttershy asked in concern.

"Could be…" Flare Tiger answered in uncertainty with a shrug.

Shadow Dragon, Terrorcreep and Applejack, in their sportswear, are now at the gym. Most of athletes were happily playing basketball, under Aqua's coaching.

"Is it me or did we go into wrong class again?" Shadow Dragon questioned.

Terrorcreep shook his head, "Yes, we did. This class was supposed to be Rainbow and Pinkie's."

"We somehow end up here," Applejack admitted as she looked at her timetable, "I was supposed to be with Fluttershy to do some projects from wood shop."

"Indeed. Shorty and I are supposed to be in science class." Terrorcreep pointed firmly. He turned to Shadow Dragon, "Can I assume that you're in this class?"

Shadow Dragon nodded, "Yeah. I'm supposed to be with Flash and Flare. Maybe we should get back to the office."

Applejack and Terrorcreep nodded in agreement with Shadow Dragon. Three of them approached to Aqua that they need to see Principal Celestia about their schedule mess-up. She nodded understandingly as she allowed them to go.

At the advanced physic classroom, Shorty was writing down the equation on the chalkboard while Pinkie was drawing on it. Twilight arrived and entered the classroom.

"Shorty, Pinkie, have you seen Sunset?" Twilight asked. She then noticed what Pinkie was doing, "Wait. I didn't know you were taking advanced physics."

"Advanced physics?" Pinkie asked in surprise. She laughed in relief, "Thank goodness! I thought they had ruined P.E.!"

Shorty gave a blunt look, "Nope. You just have no brain."

"Shorty!" Twilight scolded Shorty.

Pinkie stuck her tongue at Shorty as she sternly pointed out, "At least, I wasn't being a big fat meanie to my friends especially Rarity. You should be ashamed of yourself, Shorty!" Shorty was annoyed by her insult. She then looked at her timetable, "Wait a sec. If I'm supposed to be in P.E., then Rainbow is already there! Rainbow Dash, I'm on my way! Don't choose teams without me!"

Twilight sighed in frustration. Shorty scoffed, "Told you that she doesn't have a brain." This prompted her to smack his head. He yelped in pain, "What?! What did I do?!"

"Pinkie was right. You are such a big meanie," Twilight remarked dryly as she left the classroom.

Shorty scoffed while shaking his head in frustration as he also left the classroom as well.

Both Main Six and Dragon Strike Force returned to principal's office. They all reported their concerns about the mix-up of their timetable. Principal Celestia became annoyed by it. Spell Nexus was there as well, waiting for her order to recall the timetable for proper placement.

"Should I recall everyone to return the timetable?" Spell Nexus requested.

"No," Principal Celestia answered firmly, silencing everyone. She turned and looked at her students, "Everyone, I think I can arrange for you all to have one class period together. But this is the final change, okay?"

Everyone cheered in agreement with Principal Celestia's decision. Spell Nexus sighed in frustration about her decision.

Both Main Six and five of Dragon Strike Force are now at the cafeteria as they all are having lunch together. They also have some chattering with each other as well.

"Well, she wasn't lyin'. Lunch technically is a class period." Applejack commented.

Pinkie squealed happily, "Best class to have together ever!"

Almost everyone chattered in agreeing with Applejack and Pinkie's comments, though Shorty and Rarity were annoyed to see each other before looked away.

"Well, almost everyone agreed," Shadow Dragon remarked in concern.

"We need them to make up with each other." Twilight agreed. She gave some thoughts, "I might have an idea. I definitely need Coach Aqua's help."

"Count on me to get her help, Twi," Rainbow said proudly.

Fluttershy looked concern as she asked, "Um, has anyone seen Sunset and Flash?"

"Now you mention it. I haven't seen them for whole day. Where could they be?" Saber asked.

As Principal Celestia was typing on her keyboards, she heard the knock. She looked up and found Sunset and Flash entered the room, accompanied by Spell Nexus.

"I think we're supposed to have lunch this period." Sunset explained while looking at her timetable.

Flash nodded, "Yeah. Don't suppose you can change that?"

Principal Celestia sighed in frustration with the same problem again. She turned to Spell Nexus, who whistled innocently while looking away.

"Spell Nexus, recall the timetable. Make sure there're in right place," Principal Celestia ordered in frustration tone.

Spell Nexus nodded happily, "Yes, ma'am."

As commanded, he collected Sunset's and Flash's timetable first. He then used desk microphone to give order to the student returning their timetables to him at once. When they did, he began to look through all of them while making sure that some subjects are in right places now.

Spell Nexus scoffed, "I told her so. But I'll make sure that I get it done in time."
