Jesus fucking Christ, how the fuck do you write this much
So, before I get started on my potential rant on this chapter, which I fucking enjoyed, I'd like to briefly rave about something else: what Max's Game Plan should be against Tall, Chaotic, and Unfathomably Evil. If Magic more or less can't be used against him, because his will is simply bigger and better than everyone else with True Magic to wave, then Max should just use his True Theft to "Steal His Will". Seriously, it's that simple an answer. Once his hope for resistance his gone, his magic can be stolen, stripping him of his immortality. Sometime shortly after, stealing the events of Discord wiping the Bearer's memories and the spells cast on them will give them the motivation to kill him, have him killed, have him Soothed, or just having the Elements retrieved from Equus's Yggdrasil (if I got that right, kudos, I guess) and imprisoning his powerless, mortal ass in stone. Or whatever you want the Elements to do to him now. Naturally, I imagine Max stealing his Godhood, so that might come promptly before or after his will, depending on if his resistance is will or divine based. Either way, I can't imagine this ending properly without him taking Deityhood from Dissy Cruelest.
Now, onto the rest of my thoughts.
I found Nashoba's interactions with Max in the forest cute the same way I find Tsundere adorable (of written well), in that two abrasive, likeable people are getting along as well as can be expected.
The explanation of Pinkie came about at just the right time, and has satisfied me, when in context with the narrative of this story, and can potentially open up interesting "meta" angles for how the "Journal" got on this website, when one starts considering that Pinkie just subtly twitched the curtain, which Max caught, but can't properly comprehend yet.
I also found myself giggling at the Princesses acknowledging her as The Pink Menace, which did all kinds of things for my perceptions on this story. Same goes for Pinkie's First Talk with him this chapter; I felt it filling in an unasked question, and relieving unnoticed tension on my end.
While I feel that Max could've asked Pinkie what her True Magic is, since he can reasonably assume she has it, unless I'm misreading how something was phrased, and he knows she has it now, it's understandable that he didn't, and fits his character's continuity. Hurrah for consistent storytelling.
The coronation went as expected, and have nothing more to say about the ceremony, his speech, or the moments leading up to the Royal Discusion in the Room.
I'd like it said that I find Twilight and Cadance enjoying homoerotica absolutely hilarious, and Max teasing Twilight about it by propositioning Shining made me briefly incoherent in schadenfreude. Cadance's response just fulfilled my need for Shining's suffering.
The meeting went well, with Armor now being forced to except that his immortal wife has done, and will do, unsavory things, to keep their (but really her) Empire (city-state) running. Twilight accepting that Max very well might end up Equestria's Spymaster (and me discovering that to be his role), just fills me with positive emotions I can't properly describe or explain at the moment.
I can appreciate the brief prank spree, and Twilight finally acknowledging and recognizing Pinkie's hidden talent, even in part, has only felt like something a long time coming has finally occurred.
I look forward to him attempting to practice his True Magic on the ring, since (if I can properly recall) he has to actually know what he's stealing, which might not be the case, considering what you teased at the end there (which I only perceived, since I'm subconsciously looking for mental influence, with Discord's record of kobold shit.
Regarding Koblods, since I don't believe I've expressed my opinion on them and their frankly disgusting activities, I've found them to be too Goblinoid to consider useful in keeping around, and (as Max would put it) too Evil to let be or spare. If I believed they could be reliably controlled for any significant length of time (or any length, for that matter), I might've considered keeping some of them as my "Monsters in the Pits", to throw my worst enemies at, after rendering them helpless (like that rapist mare, or the final confrontation with Blueblood, or a powerless Discord, after mindraping him into oblivion). While I generally consider necrophilia with, mostly, ambivalence, muderfucking someone isn't something I wish on anyone, but my worst enemies, and those I genuinely despise at a base level. I'm a dark enough morally grey person to believe my enemies should suffer mindbending, in degrees of severity in direct correlation to how much I despise them, petty enough that that I have a scale, and megalomaniacal enough to seek the power to do it. However, I'm a light enough shade of grey, that it isn't all-consuming, nor is the scale ridiculous enough to include minor inconviences and (mostly) any accident to register on higher than "Zero: Nonexistent punishment". Kobolds fall under "Genocide via Time Traveling Their Evolutionary Line To Nonexistence". Discord falls under "Render Utterly Helpless, Mindrape and Imprison, Evoke Stolkholm, Torture In Every Sense Until He Break In Every Sense, Then Have Them Murderfucked As Slowly As Possible, After They Watch The Same Things Happen To Everyone They Love". In short, I'm worse than Max, and that's probably why I respect him.
Secondary tangent aside, I'm not sure I can think of anything else important to say, especially nothing I haven't said already; this chapter was good, I love the story, keep up the good work, and I look forward to the next one.
Hail Hydra.

I enjoy my craft and I have a lot of spare time to do it at the moment.

I can't address the first part too in depth because of spoiler and what not, but I can say that while I toyed with the idea of Max stealing Discords will, it never quite felt right. I've been trying to come up with something creative and dastardly that Max would reasonably think of , but for now, I'm just taking my time and seeing the different paths. There isn't much I can comment on since I'm not trying to pass out my secrets.
As for Max becoming a lowercase 'g', that's all he would ever be. Capital G wouldn't be willing to pass the torch off quite yet since Max is, well, just not that kinda guy He spent enough time worry about the weight of nobility and the ten ton fucking boulder that was Princehood. Godhood really isn't on his list of shit to, but now I have a clearer idea of where I want to take the final fight.
As for Nashoba and Max, they really didn't lose that bond they shared over the years, even if they were apart for so long. Dogs are man's best friend after.
The thing is, Pinkie's True Magic is just something she knows how to use. There isn't an Alicorn or a Pony alive that can advise Max as to what he should do as far as getting and using True Magic. Pinkie gets that it's similar to her magic, and Max isn't far behind her in making the correct guesses, but sometime a person need a little push in the right direction.
I wanted to lengthen the coronation because it felt like a much more important event than I feel like I portrayed it, but it would have been out of character for Max to suddenly strut his stuff since he still fucking hates the idea of becoming royalty.
I figure movie night would be a good way to start using some more of the electronic stuff. Well, to get it into the story I should say say. It's kind of like how Max keeps up a decent regimen, but he just never talk about it because he doesn't think anyone cares to hear about it. He just doesn't think it's all that important.
.The Spymaster thing is a better use for his talents, in my opinion. Well, as of chapter 42, that's what is going on with that bit. I believe the only reasons Twilight would ever accept Max leaving to do nefarious shit is because she has faith that he's doing the right thing, even if she can't really see it at the moment.
Seriously, fuck Kobolds, though Goblins are just as be, if not a little worse since they're slight smarter.
I don't know, I think Max's vindication with Graham was pretty fucking evil myself. Ten years of unfathomable pain that doesn't let you cry or weep, or tell someone what's wrong. Max basically trapped the Chief in his own body with not hope for more than a blinks relief, but even then, the pain comes back even more fiercely. I think it's a quality over quantity type thing. You fuck someone up for maybe a month or two, healing them until you break their mind, body and spirit, or you burn away at their will to live over the course of a decade. You're a brutal fella, however, Vik. I like that.

I like you; you're keeping your options open, until you find the find the direction that seems best, while keeping characters consistent, and maintaining a sense of semi-reliable continuity, by using perspective like a call girl, as opposed to the (now dead, and in your trunk) hooker (because it's always a hooker, once they're in your trunk).
5 Points for understanding the (probably misquoted) reference.
Hail Hydra.

I guess it does. Bashing yourself isn't the healthiest, though.

IT's how I keep myself humble, otherwise I'd be a narcissist

I suppose when you put it like that, it's not as bad.

I feel like Maxy boi has to accept being a prince before the "real" magic comes into play for him
So literally all of the members of a wedding in MLP are female, with the sole exception being the groom, and possibly the ring bearer, and I just realized this now.

I've been saying for years that MLP was sexist af
How the fuck does Max not love Princess Bride?! It is exactly his type of irrelevant, mocking humor, and it’s quotable as hell. It’s like the author read a synopsis and title, but never actually watched the freaking film!
