It has been weeks since the defeat of the Dazzlings, and Sunset Shimmer's friendships have only gotten stronger. Whilst finally relaxing in the times of peace, Sunset discovers an old enemy: Sonata Dusk. Strangely alone and apparently homeless, Sonata's luck seems to be at its all time low.
Seeing a little of herself in the former siren, Sunset embarks on a mission to help Sonata find friendship.

Sunset returns to Equestria to escape the living conditions of the human world. Once she gets to Ponyville to rebuild her life, she runs into a human that makes her feel complete. Except... he doesn't like ponies.

Sonata says she’s having issues with maths. Adagio, having nothing better to do and not wanting to take more of Sonata’s complaining, decides to help her. But Sonata can’t simply pay attention to what Adagio says. Adagio is confused. What was happening to that stupid idiot?

Jack backlash was a highschool student that doesn't have that much of anything interesting happening in his life. One day, these 'Dazzlings' show up and one of them caught his eye. She looked like a cute girl who seemed clumsy, but funny. Her name was Sonata Dusk. Ever since the battle of the bands, the dazzlings lost and were never seen again. It was a shame that he never got the chance to talk to Sonata before she and her sisters disappeared.

But it seems that luck was with him.

Three weeks later as he was walking home from work on a rainy afternoon, he heard a girl in the alleyway sobbing. As he looked into the alleyway, he was surprised to who it was. This is where his story begins…

A former villain on the road to reformation, still facing the consequences of her past actions. Five girls, together again, thinking fondly of the help and guidance they got from the pony princess from another dimension. And one troubled boy stuck in the middle, who has given up on love, and life.

Sunset Shimmer has reformed, but she knows she must right her past wrongs—there is a boy on the roof of Canterlot High, declared worthless and unlovable by Sunset herself, ready to believe her right and jump to his death. With help from Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, Sunset must talk him down and convince him that what she said in the past isn't true, and that he deserves to live.

Meanwhile, the boy thinks back on his numerous attempts to prove to her, and to himself, that she was wrong. His solution: ask the five most perfect girls in school out on a date. Their mutual response: no. He must learn that love doesn't work that way, that a lack of romance is not a lack of love, and that he desperately needs help before it's too late.

Nobody has seen the Sirens since the Battle of the Bands, and nearly everyone is fine with that. Months later, Sunset Shimmer feels her entire life is going better then it ever was since the Fall Formal. She has her best friends, the school no longer hates her, and it's summer vacation.

One night on her way back home from band practice, she finds the three powerless Sirens who are now homeless. Deciding to be a nice person, she takes them in, but the question becomes how long will they stay? And what will happen to them in the future?

Beef Fondue is in love with someone (at least he think he is), and he plans to let her know. But just approaching her and telling it straight to her face ain't going to leave any lasting impressions. Beef wanted it to be special. A confession so good, it would capture her heart instantly.

But Beef hasn't got a clue on what he should do. He needed advice. So, as with all difficult situations, he seeks help from his best friend, Sunset Shimmer. But will the help he is looking for be helpful?

This Fic is set in the Equestria Girl's Universe. So, yeah, humans instead of ponies.

But what is love? What does love truly mean? You'd read about it in novels or short stories. You'd see it in movies or TV shows. You'll even hear it from your friends and family. No matter where you go, you can bet that love will be just around the corner, waiting impatiently to make its sudden appearance.

Not everyone have had the chance to experience love, though. Take the hero of this story for example: Salami B. Salami B is your everyday average high schooler. He isn't a genius, nor a strong athlete. He isn't incredibly dashing, nor a big hit with the ladies of Canterlot High. If Salami B was anything, is average.

So, being the average guy that he was, Salami B has never once stopped to think about pursuing a romantic relationship with any of the girls in his school; he just don't understand why should he be wasting his time chasing a girl, when he could use that time to focus on other things?

Besides, love was never really something Salami took an interest in; he finds it weird and mysterious, if not downright intimidating. No, Salami B would be much better off alone and single. At least, that's what he tells himself.

But, of course, like every other love story you'd probably read, his life and views on love was about to change. And it all began when he first met Sunset Shimmer.

Our story takes place in the Equestria Girl's Universe. So, yeah, you'll find that there is an unreasonable amount of humans here instead of ponies. So, if that really ain't your thing... too bad. But if it is, welcome! And I hope you'll enjoy this.

I'm a ordinary guy at school, nothing special. As I moved into town, I had to go to Canterlot High school, where I met the most wonderful girl, Sunset Shimmer. There is a jerk named Flash Sentry, and some other five awesome gals. But what I want to do the most, is protect this girl.

At a ordinary day in class, Cheerilee signs up a task that involves two people to pretend to be a married couple and experience the feeling of how tough it is to be in a relationship with another person. I got to team up with my new crush, Sunset Shimmer. As I continued to hang out with Sunset more often, something more sparks between us.

Sunset Shimmer needs some champagne, and ends up taking in an air-headed housemate and prospectively reform-able Siren. An uncertain friendship is formed as Sunset struggles to educate Sonata on how forming emotional ties with other humans works, and takes the former siren under her care in an attempt to change her for the better as the siren herself wrestles new vices and old hatreds.

Set in the EQG universe, right after Rainbow Rocks, before Friendship Games.

Rated Teen for alcohol use.
