I've been around in this world for several years now and I've realized that I am not like the others of my kind. I've only learned what little I have because the ponies do not keep their books locked up, if it wasn't for that then I wouldn't be where I am today; studying so many different things that it makes my head spin. This is a story of my life among the ponies; my name is Gem Stone, I'm a Diamond Pup, and I'm going to change the world.

My second attempt at a fic and something I actually intend to write. A Displaced story line with elements from Artix Entertainment, Joss Whedon's Angel, and Most importantly...MLP!! I own none of the aforementioned works of fiction. Please don't sue!!

When a new creature is forced from hiding, everypony wants to know everything about it. But as they dig, they find more questions. And as it turns out this creature is harboring a very dark, and distant past. Yet it has no clue. And like every past, there are locked doors.

Follow the journey as the Mane Six try to help it regain its memory and unlock some of those doors. Along the way, they soon discover this creature has a knack for particular profession. Why? Well, lets just say some doors that were locked should have probably stayed locked.

Mr. Hat and Clogs is a small candy shop owner with a dark past. He can move faster than the sound barrier, destroy mountains in seconds, and is a brilliant scientist and inventor. When one day, he conducts a experiment were he is teleported into Equestria with the strange ability to transform into a pony. Things seem to be going well at first until his presence begins to attract evil spirits. All the while a cat named Yoruichi follows him around.

The Everfree forest.

It is a blemish upon the beautiful face that is Equestria. They say that it is a land shrouded in chaos, where the plants, the weather, and the denizens of the forest themselves all act on their own accord. It is commonly regarded as a place of evil, for the natural laws of Equestria do not apply to it.

While most tend to steer clear of the accursed forest, one too many accidents within it have prompt the need to finally remove the Everfree once and for all. The princesses, in response to the request of ponies as well as their own opinions, have opted to have every inch of the Everfree cut down for the creation of a new settlement on the grounds of environmental preservation and research.

It has been three months since a logging crew had been dispatched to deal with the problem. Most of the team never returned to report their progress, and those who have were forever haunted by what they had experience...
