This story is a sequel to Fed up

Things just never seem to settle down for the fair sun princess; even when she intends to make way for things to settle down. Despite three separate princesses and one princess in training, there’s always something that seems to come back to bite her in the but. First it was her previous student showing up with a despicably large superiority complex. Then it was Chrysalis’ threats not being quite as empty as she thought, as she happened to say hello to her sister. Couple those things with the perpetual worry that something else could crawl out of the woodwork, and you’ve got a recipe for a vacation that Celestia is trying really hard--and half failing-- to enjoy.

Will Equestria survive without Celestia? Will she ever find out who her granddaughter is? Will Equestria be able to hold back Cocoon’s attempt at an invasion? Will Tartarus stay locked up long enough for there to be relative peace? Will her old student ever get her slice of humble pie? Probably, but Celestia really doesn’t want to get involved. She’s intent on enjoying her vacation… Even if it kills her.

A story with many different settings that occasionally converge with each other.

Tags will be updated over the story's progression. Cover image will be removed upon artist request.

There are more characters than the character tag will allow, hence the "other" tag.

This story is a sequel to Secrets of a Royal Guard

Duty, honor, and loyalty above all else. That was what Silent Knight had been told ever since he was a colt. They had guided him all his life and he was more than ready to follow in his father’s hoofsteps by dedicating himself to the Royal Guard. Then he discovered something else he had never expected: friendship and love. He learned that he owed these values not just to his job, but to his wife, his friends, and his family. Unfortunately, he learned that too late.

War has broken out between the gryphon kingdoms and Equestria is stuck in the thick of it trying to protect their ally, Nordanver. As Silent marches off to war, he must contend with the guilt that battles within him. He played right into the claws of Sudramoar's sovereign, and now he must leave his newlywed wife behind so that he can pay the price for his foolish actions.

Knowledge of the Quill & Blade AU is recommended to understand this story. It is a direct sequel to Secrets of a Royal Guard.

Princess Celestia had a good day. Luna had been going out more often and was becoming quite fond of nightclubs, her dear niece Cadance had formally announced her pregnancy—though, privately, Celestia felt she was too young to be a great aunt—and, of course, Twilight, her beloved former student, had taken on her first student and Celestia couldn't be prouder! Yes, it had been a good day.

Celestia Sol woke up much like she did every day the morning: sun waking her as it danced upon her eye lids. Wait, the sun? Celestia's eyes snapped open to reveal she was in Twilight's old room in the observatory. On the other side of the room was a smaller bed where a small dusky unicorn was drooling on her pillow.

Clearly, it must be Tuesday.

Twilight's transfer from Crystal Prep hasn't exactly gone over that smoothly. She's terribly closeted and hates branching out to other things. Her interests lie in pen, paper, and books. So what is it that can bring all of those things together into one sociable, friendship-buidling (or destroying) activity?

Caverns and Critters, a fantasy tabletop game.

Sunset Shimmer has her reservations, but Twilight seems to enjoy building these fantasy worlds for them, and all of the other girls are enjoying themselves as well (even Fluttershy and Rarity, surprisingly enough.) Far be it from her to deny her friends their indulgence, and if she's being perfectly honest with herself, all the talk of magic and kingdoms and fantasy errata has her pining for Equestria and her old life.

Rated Teen for mild language, violence, and thematic elements.

I'm sure Gygax is rolling in his grave, but I felt a Dungeons and Dragons analog in Equestria Girls needed to be done. Because let's face it, what else do high school juniors do with their free time?

As far as demons go, Morpheus is fairly standard. He plays tricks on your dreams, perhaps drives one or two mortals mad... but when a demon is summoned with their True Name, they are spiritually bound to obey their summoner. Usually this is not a problem, as it's usually something fun that Morpheus can get behind. Sabotage, assassination, diabolical masterminding... actions with consequences that will damn his summoner for all eternity. This time, though, he meets a creature so colourful and innocent-looking, he's almost insulted.

She'll give him the order to begin World Domination, right?

Aaaaaaany day now.

Practically everything I make has some pun in it. Biology. Pun in it squares.

Rated Teen for mention of dark stuff. A story that tries not take itself too seriously. This is also going to be a short one, probably only about four chapters long.

On a day of remembrance, a new threat arises, shedding light on old mysteries.

This follows Two Pair by about 700 years, but is not a very similar story, and reading Two Pair is not necessary to understand Sparkle Day.

Now has a sequel! Celestia Does Stuff in Ponyville While Other Things Happen Elsewhere

"Your Majesty!" "Your highness!" "My princess!" "My Sweet Goddess!"

These are all titles that Celestia has heard her little ponies call her. They hold her in the highest esteem, praising her for every little complement she gives them, and they look for her approval above all else.
Even her student Twilight treats her very highly, although that could be chalked up to a mother/daughter relationship. In fact, the only ones that don't treat her as a high and mighty, so-far-above-from-the-world-you-would-not-understand ruler were those not under her, and her sister.

Yes, everypony worships the very ground she treads upon.
And she is sick and tired of it.

With the help of her dear sister, Twilight and her friends, our beloved princess will seek out a way to put an end to the high level of praise that she has, Luna is jealous of, and Twilight is worried about receiving because of her status-- no matter how humble her subjects are to her.

The picture here seemed to get the premise of the story right. yes, sue me, I picked a picture to fit with the story, not a story for the picture. Please give the artist your full appreciation!

When a Necromancer is hurled into the place between places then escapes to another world at the cost of his life it is not the end. Being a Necromancer he returns to life with ease, but is skirting the edges of consciousness, and unable to truly wake as a mysterious figure uses magic to put him on the back of a horse to carry him away into the night.

To make matters worse the phylactery he used to save his own life recreated him as a member of the dominant race with... some errors. His injuries are still present and he's now in a much smaller body with his magic drained to nothingness.

So now he's horribly injured, held captive by an unknown force, in an unfamiliar body, in an unfamiliar world and completely exhausted. He's had worse days. He just can't think of any off the top of his head. So familiar territory then, nothing to worry about.
