Betrayal always hurts, especially when it come form those you love and trust the most. When Anon-A miss brings Sunset’s world crashing down around her, she turns to the one pony she knows she can truly trust, only to find she’s not the only one who’s been betrayed by her friends. Plagued by betrayals old and new, Twilight and Sunset began to walk the road to recovery and as they do, they discover that while the road may be painful, it’s also almost as beautiful as the pony walking next to them.

Romance tag is for SunLight as well as some Starlight/Trixie that will occur in the final scene of most chapters as a background story.

Spike’s been feeling down lately, he feels anxious, bored, and confined. Something’s bugging him, but he doesn't know what. So when Rainbow Dash tells him that Twilight has a spell to change his form, he figures that turning into a unicorn would impress Rarity, as well as get his mind off of things.
Shenanigans ensue, and Twilight relents. However, instead of doing what they asked, she genies them. Turning Spike into a mare, and Rainbow Dash into a male dragon.

Now they must survive the week like this.

Discord, as the good friend he is, tosses Twilight and her extended family into an unexpected adventure while Twilight's other friends get to work on the new crystal palace.

All together, they'll do everything to ensure Twilight and her family have a place to call home when they reach the end of the road.

As her twenty-first birthday dawns, Twilight Sparkle finds her simple life turned upside down. To celebrate Tirek's defeat, Pinkie has a huge party at the Friendship Castle. During this party, Fluttershy says how she wishes she had a foal, but doesn't think she'd be a good mother.Twilight tells her she'd be a great mother and that, if Fluttershy had been her mother, she'd have been a great one to her. Pumpkin, hearing this, casts a spell, just as Discord, for a joke, is about to turn Twilight into a foal for the night. When Twilight wakes up the next morning, she finds she's become an alicorn foal and fluttershy is her mother.

They both remember that that isn't how it use to be, but other than Discord and Pinkie nopony else seems to remember it and, for some reason, Discord can't reverse the spell. What will they do now?
