So who is the real She Wolf in sheep's clothing?

My master Lulu, at the beginning of her short story <Prey>, asked the question, "So who on earth will be whose prey?"

So who is the real She Wolf?

Being the smart one in a group of pony-hating creatures was a tough task for a little filly such as herself, but Cozy Glow was certain she had it handled. She just needed to sweet-talk them into seeing how much they needed her wits, and then make them like her enough to want to protect her from harm. That would be super easy.

The hard part was doing that while avoiding being singled out as a potential threat by Grogar, their clearly unhinged leader.

Celestia has reached the eldest age for an alicorn, and in order to continue lifting the sun for Equestria, she has no choice but to transform herself back into a filly.

She's left herself, and Luna some very detailed notes on what to do next.

*Breaks away from canon events happening in Season Nine. For example, Cozy Glow is still trapped within Tartarus.*

To escape from Tartarus is nearly impossible, even for one of great magical power. When you've lost your powers and are little more than a withered old centaur, it's even harder. But Tirek has a plan, one that will draw in a creature from a world where life is cheap, hats are plentiful, and gravel is king. Will the Spy take the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned vacation in this new world, or will he see the population of friendly, innocent ponies as just a fresh selection of backs to stab? It could be both!

(Takes place before the beginning of Season 9.)

Ganon is defeated, and this time for good. However, other, greater evils have been confirmed to be working in Equestria, all of whom are preparing for the return of the greatest evil of them all. Witness several key events that take place in the five years that span between the defeat of Ganon and the War of the Three Worlds.

After Equestria almost fell at the hooves of Cozy Glow, Twilight Sparkle visited the filly in Tartarus multiple times. She had been talking to her, tried to get to the bottom of why she almost singlehoofedly brought down Equestria by manipulating her fellow friendship students and attempting to banish all of its magic into another realm.
But no matter how often she asked or how much she probed for an underlying reason behind all this, Equestria's youngest enemy only kept reiterating that friendship is nothing but power for her.
Cozy Glow was a special case. But she wouldn't be the Princess of Friendship if she were to give up on a struggling friendship student. Maybe she really was not able to teach Cozy Glow the true values of friendship and neither were her five closest friends. But maybe others could succeed where they have failed.

And so, Twilight goes and assembles a team of ponies and creatures to teach Cozy Glow about Friendship, Villainy, Betrayal and the struggle to choose between Good and Evil.
The only catch was that Tartarus' security level has been increased.
But that's what letters are for.

Set between Season 8 and Season 9.

"Hey, Grogar sir, don't you think we should try to get everyone to work together? Perhaps by playing a game or something?"

"Like what?"

"Golly, there has to be something you like to do! You could try to introduce the rest of us to it!"

And then Grogar remembered a game he used to play in his youth...

Cozy Glow sighed as she flapped her wings to stay afloat in the air. She frowned at the mess beneath her as two grown adults bicker like foals fighting over a swing set in a park. Again, it was up to her to be rational and patient. If she doesn't make Tirek and Chrysalis get along soon, they would have to face Grogar's wrath and she would like to avoid him as much as she can. She learned all the friendship fundamentals of Friendship in Twilight's school, if she can do it, Cozy Glow can do it better.

The Elements are sent as backup to help solve the mystery of the changeling's purpose in the wasteland that was Flutter Valley.
With Cadence, Shining Armor and a contingent of guardsponies will they be able to sort things out peacefully or will Cadence's resentment of Chrysalis lead to war against thousands of changeling drones?
What of the fabled and long dead sunstone, said to have the ability to radiate warmth and love if only it wasn't cursed right along with the valley itself?

Admittedly it's a bit of a G1 crossover, and my first pony fic besides. Try not to hold that against it. I feel the mythology of the sunstone was inadequately explored and I rather felt that the changelings might make good use of such an item.

This will be four chapters, about 10,000 words each and will NOT be abandoned before completion, Pinkie promise.

At 4000 years old, Queen Chrysalis has a lot going for her: she was definitely is a Queen of one of the mightiest changeling hives in all Equestria, she's next in line to be the Queen of Queens, and she is most certainly NOT a virgin. She's had dozens, if not scores, of partners in her life. After all, how could you live that long without losing your virginity? That'd be just weird, and Queen Chrysalis is the least weird changeling you'll find.
