It's a relatively normal day in Canterlot. The sun is shining; the birds are singing!; and somebody somewhere just spent a good chunk of change on the latest Duel Disk model. Yes, Duel Monsters has become quite the phenomenon, and the Canterlot scene is beginning to develop quite nicely. The local card shop has even decided to hold a beginner's tournament to help introduce new players into the game!

So; what happens when a few, questionably normal magic-infused high schoolers take up an interest in a game that's never really mixed well with magic to begin with? Naturally: nothing good! It's up to them and their new companion: a self-proclaimed Duel Monsters veteran named Onyx -- who has decided to help them learn the basics of the complex game -- to discover the consequences of the cards' newfound hidden powers.

It's a good thing he's a pretty understanding guy. Right?

[Crossover] with Yu-Gi-Oh! based on the EQG universe, but with several fundamental differences -- hence the [Human] and [Alternative Universe] tags to account for canonical discrepancies and the sudden prevalence of children's card games. Additional character or genre tags may be added as necessary. "Duel Monsters" utilizes the updated Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Rule 4 established in July 2017.

In Canterlot High School, every student is wild over the world's most popular trading card game: Duel Monsters! Every day, players of the card game, known as "Duelists", go head-to-head to see who among them is the best around. Among the Duelists in attendance at CHS, one of the best is a young teenager named Sunset Shimmer, a girl from another world...

Another crossover series, this time combining the worlds of Equestria Girls and the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. The series is basically a retelling of the story of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, from the point of view of the EG cast, taking place between Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games.

The story follows Sunset Shimmer, who is credited as the strongest Duelist in Canterlot High School. However, her skills are put to the test when she unwittingly releases a dangerous power into her world; a power that alters the egos of those that come into contact with it. Now Sunset has tasked herself with trying to return that power back to where it came from, hopefully before that power creates a real world crisis. She'll need the help of her friends, and the power of her Deck, to see her through the tough battles ahead...

Though the story is based mostly on Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL's story, I have taken a few creative liberties, such as allowing a more heavy use of Synchro and Fusion Monsters in addition to Xyz Monsters (which are still mostly the main focus). Although none of the new Pendulum Monsters (or Link Monsters) will appear, expect to see a few cards from Arc-V (and VRAINS) to pop up.

Twilight Sparkle is the personal student of Princess Celestia, principal and founder of the Eos Dueling School. After her warnings about the possible return of an ancient, evil being are dismissed, Twilight is instructed to go to Ponyville and evaluate a potential Duel Monsters school. There she will meet an unlikely bunch of duelists.

Applejack, a farmer with high level dueling skills. Rainbow Dash, who doesn't know the meaning of the word "defeat". Rarity, who wants to dazzle the world with her dueling skills. Fluttershy, a timid girl who can see more than she lets on and Pinkie Pie, an energetic girl who wants to make others smile with her dueling. They will all have to work together to face the return of the Maiden in the Moon.

A humanized crossover with Yu-Gi-Oh!

Duel Monsters has become popular in Equestria for awhile now and the Crusaders along with their sisters and friends have become interested in the game. However after the completion of a tournament in Manehattan, the Crusaders get drawn into a war that they didn't expect against a cult that worships a wicked form of light.

But will they be tempted to join the dark side completely? Or will they keep going strong?

This is a sequel to Friends Beyond Time. (If there are any spelling mistakes, or if something doesn't make sense, send me a message immediately!) (Only read the 3rd chapter if you don't like the ending of the 2nd chapter. Please.) Rainbow's won some duels off screen, so now she's invited to a tournament called the Slick Cylinder Cup to face off against eight off the best duelists around. The winner gets a chance to duel Yusei Fudo for the title as the new King of Queen of Turbo Duels. Also, Rainbow has a new deck that she's saving just for Yusei. But, will it be enough? (Yusei uses a combination of his anime and manga decks in this story.) Next story is Can You Keep Up?

This is a sequel to Who is Fastest? (If there are any spelling mistakes, or if something doesn't make sense, send me a message immediately!) Rainbow has beaten Yusei, and now Sunset wants to turbo duel in the pro league. Then a mysterious racer comes and challenges her to see if she has what it takes, or if Sunset is just in over her head.

This is a sequel to The Grand Championship. (If there are any spelling mistakes, or if something doesn't make sense, send me a message immediately!) After a day at the beach, the girls decide to go duel until a stranger warps out of nowhere and steals Rainbow's favorite cards. She then travels back in time using the necklace she got from Camp Everfree. Once there, she encounters the Sunset from the past and the Twilight from Equestria. They soon discover its the human Starlight Glimmer! Can our three girls beat her? Or will Duel Monsters and everything that was created from it be erased? Next story is Who is fastest?

When the girls hear that Camp Everfree is about to close, Rainbow Dash talks to her father, who happens to be friends with an employee of Kaiba Corp. He suggests a charity tournament to Mr. Kaiba, and he grants it. Since Sunset won at the Friendship Games Tournament, she is the current title holder. So now, 16 duelists from around the globe will battle each to see who gets to duel Sunset for the championship crown. But one of the duelists seems to have his eye on Kaiba's company. Now, Sunset and her friends must find out why. If not, the camp is done for. Next story is Friends Beyond Time.

Except for chapter 5) Dartz needs employees, so he gathers up the Dazzlings who have been dueling to stay off the streets. He has also sealed off Twilight's portal to Equestria, so she's stuck here with Sci-Twi and the others. Twilight, Rainbow and Sunset are chosen to wield the three Legendary Dragons, but will they be enough to stop this plague of evil?
