They soon discover that the Dazzlings are actually evil Sirens that plan to conquer the world. Can the girls sever the Siren's spell by defeating them in a duel? Thanks to her new item, Sunset is safe. Now the only way to set her friends free is to beat Bakura is a shadow duel. My name’s Seto Kaiba. Yes, I am named after the Seto Kaibafrom Yu-Gi-Oh because my parents have been fans of the show ever since it first aired when they were in collage. Personally, I can’t stand that arrogant jerk but I’d be lying if I said we didn’t have some similarities, especially when it came to looking out for our younger siblings who'd we do anything for. One a day about an hour before heading out to a small Yu-Gi-Oh tournament my friend John was holding a mysterious card appeared an set me to a version of Equestria that's very similar to Domino City. Hopefully I can find clues to where my missing sister is and if anyone's hurt her then I'll make them wish they hadn't!

Her door bumps into something half way and discovers an unknown chest, along with the card decks inside as well. Unbeknownst to her however, the first deck Sunset picked up have somehow chosen her of being the new Dark Signer leader as she uses the other decks to find more people to join her side and figure out on what to do next. Perhaps seek revenge on those who've wronged her or maybe something else.

With her ascendance into an alicorn princess, what Twilight Sparkle thought would be a simple royal summit to the Crystal Empire goes horribly wrong when Celestia's wayward former student Sunset Shimmer steals the Element of Magic into another world. Equestria's newest princess must hurry and get back her element before nefarious forces within this new world can use it to wreak havoc.

An alternate Yu-Gi-Oh take on Equestria Girls. After feeling uneasy about using someone else's established setting for my previous anthology, I decided to put my own spin on the concept, and thus we have Equestria Girls: Duel Monsters.

Friendship? Waste of time.
Card games? Waste of paper.
This was the opinion of one Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia. Or at least it was, until said Princess decided to send that humbug to Ponyville to oversee the Summer Sun Celebration. Now she has to deal with pink ponies that won't stop talking, dueling Pegasi, and nighttime eternal if she can't finish this on time.

A blend of two AUs. The one is Yu-Gi-Oh in Equestia. The other is a "What if" alternate timeline that kind of snuck into the writing process, so I apologize if that's a turn-off for you.
