Prologue: Awaken the dark gods.
Ever since the new Mystable account member appeared out of nowhere, things haven't so well for Sunset Shimmer, her friends, and everyone else at Canterlot High School. Hidden secrets are being exposed online and friendships is being torn apart one after another. Without any evidence or not thinking clearly, everyone's dumb heads quickly all turn to Sunset being the culprit because of her past history.
Sunset tries to explain everyone that it wasn't her, but it felt like deaf's door. Even she tells her own that she's innocent, only it turns out the same way as every person around her is walking away, leaving her in full of tears and cries.
People have been calling her a bully, raging she-demon, censored names, princess reject, you name it.
'After everything I did and try to make amends from my own mistakes, this is how they repay me?' Sunset's mind angrily said.
So Sunset decides to pack up her things in her locker, ignoring the painted names, and walk out of the school.
Some students and teachers try to talk with her, but she also ignores them and heads outside.
"I don't need them. I don't need anyone else. Especially. . . . . . those two." She murmurs to herself.
Sunsets stops and glances at her school and the mirror statue for a few seconds before heading off.
"Have fun dealing with magical disasters without me, CHS and former friends of mine."
Later on after walking away CHS, Sunset finally made it to her apartment. She climbs up the stairs and heads to her door. Getting a key and inserts to the handle, she unlocks it and opens it up. Opening up halfway, the door bumps into something.
"Huh, what's this?" Sunset asked.
She looks down to find a small weird dark symbol chest box near her feet.
Not knowing of what the chest is and what's inside, she shrug to herself and lifts it up.
"I better take this inside."
She takes the chest inside and closes the door behind her. She then places it onto her bed and goes in the bathroom to think things over on what to do now.
"I can't go back to school. Maybe I'll ask Princess Twilight. . . nah she's probably too busy with her royal duty. Maybe deep down inside, I still wonder on how she hasn't contacted my journal yet. Never even bother on how I'm doing. Some friend she turned out to be."
While Sunset is thinking, a dark aura inside the chest begins to expand. She gets done brushing her teeth and goes to bed when the dark aura suddenly vanishes. Sunset glances at the chest and wonders on what's inside. So with caution, slowly walks over and proceeds to open it, a bit surprised there isn't any locks or something on it.
Opening up the container slowly, she sees multiple card decks in a circle with one in the middle.
Each deck have a mark of the Giant, Lizard, Hummingbird, Spider,Monkey, Whale, and Condor.
"What are these card doing in this box?" Sunset wondered as she shook her head.
"Oh well, I'll take them in for now and later return them to their owner."
She then uses her left hand and grabs the deck in the middle. Unaware that when she touches it, the top card makes a dark static as it stops her hand from picking it up.
"What the-" Sunset was cut off when an ominous speaks inside her head.
"You have been chosen, young one."
Before Sunset tries to speak, the dark static from the card shocks her as shes losses conscious on her bed.
Sunset wakes up in an unknown strange forest environment of darkness all around her.
"W-Where am I?"
When getting up off and onto her feet, her eyes widen to see multiple giant symbol drawings of animals.
The same symbol ones that were on each top card inside the dark chest she brought in.
"Do not feel frighten, we are in a safe room where no other mortals can find us. We come in peace."
Sunset heard the same voice and looks down to see each seven face up card laying down in a circle. Suddenly, each other slowly floats upwards before stopping mid-air to face her as they each begin to engulf in darkness.
"Let us introduce ourselves first." The voice said out loud.
The first card expands to form a giant yellow glowing monkey.
"I'm up first, I am Earthbound Immortal Monkey, Cusillu. A pleasure to meet you." Cusillu said slowly nodding to her.
The second card expands to form a giant dark purple glowing whale as it levitates.
"I'm Earthbound Immortal Whale, Chacu Challhua. You have any food with you that I can eat?"
"CHACU, BEHAVE YOURSELF! WE'LL GET SOME LATER!" The spider card shouted to the whale.
"Sorry."
The third card expands to form in a giant blue glowing titan.
"You may call me Earthbound Immortal Giant, Ccapac Apu." Ccapac said to her as it fidgets it's fingers.
"G-Guys, you know I'm not very good at conversations." The giant whispers to each Earthbound.
The fourth card expands to form in a giant light pink glowing spider.
"The names Earthbound Immortal Spider, Uru." Uru says to her.
The fifth card expands to form in a giant orange glowing humming-bird.
"Earthbound Immortal Hummingbird, Aslla Piscu. Evening love, is that sweet aroma I smell on you?" Aslla said to Sunset sniff at her.
"Not now Aslla." The condor said to the humming-bird.
"Sorry, I just couldn't resist that sweet aroma smell on her." Aslla giggled.
The sixth card expands to form in a giant green glowing lizard.
"I am known as Earthbound Immortal Lizard, Ccarayhua. At your service miss." Ccarayhua says bowing to her.
The final card expands to form in a giant pink glowing condor bird.
"Lastly, I am the Earthbound Immortal Condor, Wiraqocha Rasca." Wiraqocha said nodding to her.
"M-My name is Sunset Shimmer." Sunset said shaking in fright of seeing each one looking at her.
The seven Immortals notice that she's beginning to hyperventilate as the condor sighs and speaks up.
"As I said before, do not feel frighten in any way. Neither of us seven Immortals are here to hurt you. We only wish to speak with you. No trickery, no manipulation, no, mind control, no persuasion, no nothing, but a little nice conversation talk. Is that okay, Sunset?"
Sunset thinks for a moment before calming down and nods to them.
"Alright."
All of the Earthbound animals then proceed to sit down as the spider begins to speak.
"Now that we have introduced each other, how's about we have a little chat, shall we?"
