Chrysalis has taken Canterlot, the Elements of Harmony are captured and Celestia and Cadence are in her grasp, everything has gone according to her plans, she could just sing about how perfect this day has been.

Too bad three fillies, one night princess, and four other hives have something to say about that.

A gnoll appears in the Canterlot library and is forced to cope with an endless amount of problems as it gets to know the ponies a bit better.

This is a story with each chapter written on a touch and go basis in an hour. If there are errors in them please excuse me I constantly reread them and when I find something I correct it. I hope you enjoy reading it.

With pastel ponies paired up all around him for the holiday, what's a human left to do?

Well, you know what they say: Go big or go Home; Go for Gold; Shoot for the Stars; Aim so high it doesn't matter where it lands.

A silly little Valentine's story I came up with a couple years ago. It's set around 'Act 3' of Tales of the Ponyville Blacksmith (which I haven't gotten to yet, but that's fine, I tried to write it so that that wouldn't matter).

The position of the Imperial Tax Collector has since always been crucial to the well-being of the Crystal Empire. Legal Basis, having secured it through the unorthodox means of mugging Princess Cadance, revolutionized the system of duties, tariffs and necessary extortion of funds through his experience in the field of brigandage.

Even during the romantically consumptive time like Hearts and Hooves Day, work continues as always and one cannot care one bit for the Cupid’s arrow.

... but what about a club?

But now, after so much time, he's found where that love resides. It's just that it happens to be in the home of another. And with only a few more steps to take before reunion, the moment when he finally knows love again...

Over half a year has passed since the changeling attack on Ponyville, and Applejack would like to think things have finally settled down. Much has changed for the young changeling, and all of Equestria in kind. The new district in Ponyville proves that, along with the town's many new residents.
But there is much the young queen does not yet know about being a changeling. Some things, she will learn, can be chosen, while others will be chosen for her. With new allies and enemies emerging all around her, Applejack must discover what it truly means to rule before the choice is taken from her forever, and the history of the changelings repeats itself, once again...
