Sunset Shimmer. Everybody knows about the bully seeking redemption. She sees all the stares, she hears all the whispers, she knows how her classmates seem to look away whenever she meets their gazes.

And she couldn’t expect anything less.

So it’s no surprise when her... friends stay with their own families at Christmas, leaving her alone with no family, no company and the fire seeming cold and bitter - just like all the looks directed her way. But that was fine to Sunset, it was what she deserved.

After all, with all that she had done, forgiveness - never mind friendship - was surely impossible to earn, right?

Princess Twilight, upon learning of her intent to spend Hearth’s Warming Christmas alone through the journal, travels through the mirror to gather supplies, exchange gold bits and most importantly, teach a mare girl a little something about friendship.

Sunset always knew that she was destined for greatness, but she never dreamed of how great she could become. Not until she had seen it – the mirror had shown her as an alicorn. Ignoring Celestia’s warnings, Sunset goes looking for answers.

When she learns that the mirror is also a portal to another world, well, what else was she supposed to do? But it seems that she hadn’t considered every possibility. She hadn’t, for example, considered that she might get herself trapped on the other side. Nor did she think she’d find herself transformed into a child again.

(Also available in print (temporarily out of stock), as an audiobook, and in Russian!)

This story is a sequel to My Neighbor

John Arrow is many things. A husband, a father, a friend, a veteran of World War II and Korea. He's a laborer and a mentor, a man of simple faith and plainspoken morals. The sort of Good Samaritan who makes the world a little brighter.

Mr. Arrow knows Applejack. He doesn't know Sunset Shimmer, and he doesn't know the two have a history. But when a chance encounter in the wake of the Fall Formal brings them together, none of that matters. All that matters is that someone needs his help.

Sunset Shimmer doesn't think she's worth the effort. Mr. Arrow disagrees.

This story shares a canon with My Neighbor and Their Neighbors, and My Neighbor's War. None are required reading, but all give context, and it is highly recommended that you read My Neighbor first.

A sequel to All These Midnight Days.

Sunset Shimmer has returned from the Mirror Universe in order to work with her friend and mentor, Princess Twilight Sparkle, now the Ruler of Equestria, on a personal project, only to be waylaid by the announcement that her other friend, Starlight Glimmer, is soon to give birth. What a happy occasion!

However, not all is as it seems. And when the newborn foal bears more than a striking resemblance to a certain Alicorn, the very fate of the universe will hinge upon the greatest sacrifice a mother can be called upon to make.

And in the end, is one child's happiness worth the entire world?

Part of the Anarchyverse.

Sunset Shimmer has decided: she's done.

A too-close encounter with the magic residing in herself and her companions has convinced her that it's possible to embrace too much, and she's no longer willing to accept the risks—be it for knowledge, heroics... or her friendship with the other girls.

As always, desperate times call for Rainbow Dash.

Rarity dyes her mane pink for a charity ball.

To avoid sending the whole town into a panic, she publishes this fact in the local newspaper.

Unfortunately, homophones happen.

This story is a sequel to My Empire of Dirt

Principal Celestia has had her hands full since taking a magically mute Sunset Shimmer. It hasn't been that long since the Fall Formal, and she's still trying to figure out basic communication with her student, let alone how to get her anything remotely like a Hearth's Warming present.
A hastily dashed off letter to her pony counterpart suddenly launches her on a night of adventure that will force her to question everything she thought she knew about Sunset Shimmer and how she can help the pony-turned-girl.

You're kinda going to have to read at least the first few chapters of My Empire of Dirt for this to make much sense. This story is considered canon to Empire.

I was originally going to write this as a one-shot, but once I hit 10,000 words, I figured I'd better break it up into chapters.

This story is a sequel to Dazzle's Poor Career Choice

Some things just sound like a good idea at the time. Normal people, sensible people, might completely disregard ideas such as these, but some others would say wishing a friend Happy Birthday is worth doing something crazy.

Playing a prank on someone that could use a laugh at the same time? Also good.

For those who really don't like FNAF, reading the first story is optional.
...But I seem to be including more and more callbacks to the first story as time goes on.
Summary: Sunset and Adagio both live and it proves to be something of a bonding experience for them. :)
