Magic: The Gathering. Popular, nigh-omnipresent, and like anything of that scale, mired in complaints. Some complaints, like deliberately bad rares, are universal amongst even the most passionate fans, while only a few seem to take umbrage with issues like planeswalker-heavy storylines. However, hidden amongst these complaints is one often unvoiced by fans, not for fear of retaliation but because they secretly believe they are the only ones who take issue with it:

There's just not enough pony in Magic.

In an effort to balance the scales, you are invited to follow along as we attempt to rectify this grievous error. Over the month of October, thirty-one cards will be randomly selected, and used as inspiration for stories that are undeniably pony.

After discovering a island that had strangely appeared in the middle of the ocean, Celestia sends a research team to explore the island. Unfortunately, after a week in the island the research team had suddenly disappeared. Worried for their sudden disappearance, Celestia sends the Mane 6 and a team of her best guards to investigate.

On the same island, two humans cosplaying as two characters from the Pikmin series, find themselves lost in a mysterious island filled with nocturnal predators and a few explorer ponies. Now they must work together if they wish to survive.

The Wolverine finds himself teleported to Equestria. He has no recollection of how he ended up there–in a world inhabited by miniature horses, or as they so eloquently call themselves: Ponies. He seeks to find his way home, but in the meantime he must deal with a culture that is innocent to the eyes of death. And in turn, they will come to learn who he truly is.

This story will take elements from both the comics and the movies. (X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be excluded).

This is a short story chronicling how Niko "Sid" Zoloto, a Displacer, chooses a world for his Displaced to go to. He surveys the area and wonders if this will be a good place to displace them. Niko's criteria is simple: the world has to be dangerous, but not too dangerous so as to give the Displaced a fighting chance.

He decided to scout the Changeling Empire to see if it's a good enough place. I mean, he's heard the tales of how Changelings are evil, baby snatching, love eating monsters so why not use that for his next place? What could go wrong?

We bought this Night Fury egg from this guy dressed as the Merchant and we ended up in an alternate Equestria as Night Furies. Well on the bright side, we always wanted to be parents.

She meets a team of criminal investigators who learn about who she is, and now she is forced to put her trust into them.

Now, with her new friends, she must find a way home while solving crimes, murders, and enduring all the DiNozzo jokes she can handle all the while hiding her true identity from the others.

Can she keep from getting captured, shot, or going insane long enough to get home, or will her time with the NCIS team be the end of her journey, permanently.

If there's one thing we can count on, it's Twilight Sparkle, prized student and newest princess, to botch up a spell in her quest to master all of magic.

This time, it propels her to a new world, this one not inhabited by bipeds, but ponies like herself, and yet not like herself. She has entered the realm of Everglow, where the queen is a queen, and ponies suffer horribly lethal combat much more often than Equestria could manage under the peaceful reign of its alicorn caretakers.

Will she find her way back home, to her friends and responsibilities? Will she survive the harsh new realm she has entered?

A United States Air Force AC-130 is transported to Equestria while in transit through the Bermuda Triangle. Insanity aside, this motley crew of aviators must juggle their duties while treading the uncertain waters of diplomacy.

Disclaimer: I've decided to write this in an attempt to get a more realistic view of what military in Equestria would act like, rather then the dark brooding kill happy stuff I've read. So with that being said, these guys will act more like diplomats. So there won't be much gore, and they certainly won't be going on a killing spree. (Obviously, as fiction the term realistic is applied loosely. My main goal is a realistic characterization of one specific community within the military. Just keep an open mind about how sub-cultures can exist within an entity as large as the U.S. military and you'll be fine.) Also rated teen for obvious reasons, morbid humor, light swearing, and background stories.
