When she began creating them and working on a way to make it happen, she found out the stones were singing to her. Sassy finds it unpleasant. As Rarity continues her work, Sassy begins to question it, and finds out it's not as innocent as she might think.

Now the fate of Spiketopia falls on the shoulders of its sovereign, Princess Shmarity, and if newcomer Rarity wants to save her friends from the clutches of the evil Squid Wizard or even survive in the world of Ogres and Oubliettes, she’s going to have to figure out the mechanics of the game and fast.

Not exactly her idea of a fun Saturday night, but sometimes that’s just how the dice roll.

Princess Celestia violates Star Swirl's privacy. After asking for his forgiveness, Star Swirl the Bearded reveals to her the true nature of the secret she's uncovered.

Then the wizened mage makes an unusual request: pay his mercy forward to her prodigal students in the distant future.

For those less familiar with the show, the cover image shows Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst, younger mages who are referred to in part of the story.

Roughly six years ago, Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle met as children. Unfortunately, the memory of that first meeting ended up lost in the sands of time for both of them. What happens when the sand shifts and the memory gets unearthed?

A young minotaur on the brink of adulthood goes to learn about his clan’s proud history from his wise grandfather. Of the duty and legacy he now must uphold.

He is told of the beginnings of his species proud nation. Of the great deeds of their forefather, and how, through his indomitable will, he reshaped the world itself despite all odds and hardships.

That, in the end, there is no greater strength than an unbreakable will.

This is a Canon-compliant Omake to my story The Power of Freedom, meaning that what happens here happened ‘off-screen’ in the main story.

Reading the main story isn’t necessary to appreciate and understand this, but it would make it far more enjoyable in my opinion.

Sunset Shimmer, prized pupil of Princess Celestia, has taken the most brash decision of her life. She will now have to live in the human world for years before being able to return. Fortunately, she has the help of some natives to endure this experience.

Fair warnings:

This is a different take on Sunset's story pre Equestria Girls, where things happened differently. This story will contain Sunset exploring everything she possibly can about the human world, leading to subjects some might find uncomfortable. So you have been advised.

There is no sex in this story, but there will be talk about sex, although it'll be later on. Nudity will be common but not in sexual situations (at least not early on).

This story will also deal with bullying, but not too dark.

I will appreciate greatly all forms of feedback :3

A standalone prequel to Splintershard. You don't need to read Splintershard to understand this story, nor do you need to read this to understand Splintershard.
