Having waited all night to meet Starlight Glimmer and her new friend, Princess Celestia finally gets the opportunity to do just that when Twilight eventually returns with her pupil in tow. Within the halls of Twilight's castle, four ponies sit to share stories, worries, and declarations of friendship.

Sunset Shimmer visits the Castle of Friendship, and inadvertently discovers something that Twilight would normally keep hidden under her bed... except that since this is a pony princess we're talking about, it's obviously nothing remotely resembling normal.

Spike's got three whole days to himself while Twilight is away at the Crystal Empire. Three whole days to be independent and free to do whatever he wants.

Or he would have, if a female dragon hadn't mistaken him for an abandoned hatchling. Now he's been snatched up and taken to her home to be "properly cared for."

Stuck in a cave with an overly-protective dragon intent on mothering him...maybe he should have just gone with Twilight.

More than a year after their defeat at the Battle of the Bands, a siren returns to Canterlot High in hopes of regaining something she lost.

The metropolitan areas have a tendency to fall into a routine cycle of life. Not that there's any fault in the matter. Although, some individuals might see it as a dull way to spend their time.

"Business in, business out."

However, some days tend to sway out of their usual forte (Much to an individual's liking or not). For Jacqueline, this seems like one of those days. She doesn't mind as much though. Besides, she gets to meet up with her kin. That'll prove to be fruitful, right?

Determined and eager, she stirs out from her early morning stupor.

It all started with a car battery, a taco, and dreams of home.

Then Sonata Dusk's plans to return to Equestria literally blew up in her face...and left three strangers from an even stranger land relying on her to help get them home.

Can a former evil Siren, two teenage freelance heroes, and a naked mole rat somehow find a way to send everybody back where they belong?

After their defeat at the hands of the Rainbooms, the Sirens wanted to make a break for it, leave Canterlot, and regroup someplace else.

But with the authorities now onto them, that isn't an option.

Faced with being sent to juvy or worse, an orphanage, the Sirens are given an alternative they don't particularly like:

Being "rehabilitated" by their enemies.

At Principal Celestia's suggestion, the Sirens are separated from one another, and each is sentenced to live with one of the Rainbooms. Adagio is sent to live with Sunset Shimmer. Sonata is sent to live with Pinkie Pie.

Aria is sent to live with Fluttershy. One of these girls is in for a whole lot of trouble.

Quiet mornings before school starts can be lonely, but peaceful. For some people, they're a good time to just breathe and prepare themselves for the day ahead. Fluttershy and Adagio Dazzle find themselves doing this in the same place at the same time, in their own ways.

Sonata's talent for painting has led to a huge career break, and the promise of stability and happiness for the foreseeable future. But what happens when, during this important time, the most unexpected person possible should show up to ruin everything?

Discord, Equestria's resident spirit of chaos, has appeared seemingly only to give the young lovers an ominous message coinciding with a mysterious journal entry from Twilight Sparkle. Sensing trouble, Sunset Shimmer is determined to help her friend no matter the cost. At an urging from Discord, she and Sonata have decided to return to Equestria, but find a world that neither of them recognise.
