My name's Matt. I live in a world full of zombies. All I have are my guns, knives, and a few of my closest friends. Things went alright, well, as alright as it can get in a zombie infested world. We had an established base, plenty of ammo, food and water. Plenty of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic DVDs.

But what happens when this group stumbles upon the Mane 6 in this deadly world? How did they get here? How will they get back? How will they handle the carnage? How will they be kept safe? Will AJ kick a zombie in the face?

When a college brony on a camping trip makes a wish on a shooting star, it turns out far differently than expected. Now this man turned dragon will find the there is much more to the world than the land of Equestria.

Magnus is the sole survivor of a colony ship headed towards Betelgeuse. The ship gets thrown off course when a huge asteroid slams into the ship, which is then pulled into a black hole.

When the ship exits on the other side, he finds himself alone and in an unfamiliar shape. His only companion, an advanced A.I named Ana keeps him slightly sane during their six thousand year voyage through unknown space in a nearly derelict ship.

Everything changes when they find a small blue planet teeming with life.

What do you do when your taken from your home and dropped into a new world? What do you do when you only know bits and pieces of this new world? and what do you do when you have a tender life to look out for while you adjust to this new world? These are the questions Andy must answer after he has been pulled into Equestria.

Discord has given up. Defeated so easily? It's time to retire. But he can't just leave Equestria without chaos can he? So he selects a random human to take up his mantle and to create a new reign of chaos.

Can this human manage new powers? Will he go mad or he will he end up as a statue for foals to gawk at? Is there a third option? Not very likely but with this much power he's going to try his best to create chaos and harmony at the same time.

I do promise to try and keep this light hearted and relatively comedic. Oh right I wrote this in response to the 50 000 word pony story contest. I failed horribly but I thought I'd post what I've got up here. I do plan on finishing this and it being around 50 000 words in the end.

A little warning for you in that the prologue is written very differently then the rest of the story. Also it is mostly unnecessary if you want to skip it altogether. The other thing I promise is that the romance is between ponies only and ponies that appear in the show.

Six bronies, transformed into ponies and sent to Equestria, were charged with the task of developing a diplomatic relationship with Equestria's royalty and determining if they can integrate and thrive among the native ponies. After two months, it seems their mission is a triumphant success; each of them has found a place in their new home. But when a series of unfortunate happenings upsets their new lives, they find that Equestria is not the utopia as they knew it to be. In this, the second story in the Brony Recon series, the bronies find themselves facing new challenges they could never have prepared for.

Welcome to the second installment of Brony Recon. It will be a long and bumpy ride. Oh, and to be warned: in the aftermath of a quartz experiment, Skyblaze and I have been separated, and he is helping me (with some constructive critism) at the end of each chapter!

EDIT: Alternate Universe, as the bronies' introduction to Equestria is right after season two, influencing all events. Season three episodes are not considered.
