Thoughts are what we make them, but what would you say to those imaginations that become self aware? What happens to those dreams when they threaten everything you hold dear? And what if those thoughts are the only thing that can save you from utter destruction. This is the story of relationships between cartoons and thought in general. This is the story of the greatest crossing of all time. This is the story of... Across the Universe.

The unthinkable has happened. A new Draconequus has emerged, apparently intent on plunging Equestria into chaos once more. To make matters worse, Pinkie Pie is nowhere to be found, forcing Twilight and the others to scramble to find a way to defeat this new threat without the Elements of Harmony.

Meanwhile...

After strange dreams, Pinkie Pie awakes and finds herself in the body of a Draconequus. Between strange new powers that she can't control, and, for some reason, an inability to communicate with other ponies, Pinkie finds herself alienated from her friends... but finds help from an unexpected source.

Who is Scootaloo? Everypony knows about her present, but when it comes to her past there are as many different answers as there are questions.

Is she the love child of two star-crossed lovers? The last hope for the future? The child of a broken home? A mysterious figure fighting a war no pony knows about? Or is it something else entirely? Is she even a pony at all?

Twilight Sparkle decides to ask everypony in Ponyville and find out about Scootaloo...and the stories, rumors and gossip she gets will leave her wondering how the truth can ever compete with fiction.

Hi. If you're listening to me, chances are you're probably not a human. Or, at least, not anymore. Human's don't really exist around here, except others in other forms. Me, I'm pretty much unique. Unique among the unique. And I like this place. Beats getting a swirly on a daily basis anytime. Except for maybe the almost-dying part, but even that seems better. This is my story. How I went from being everybody's favorite punching bag to a legendary beast. Who knows, maybe you'll catch lucky and come here with me. Probably better than living on the planet of the jerks. But enough about that. Let me tell you about, well, me.

This is a part of the many-writer story called "Chess Game of the Gods", which started with Rust's "The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog" which merged with Blackwing's "Griffin the Griffin", and many others joined. Permission has been granted.

Twilight and Dash, upon discovering that the long awaited "Daring Doo 4" movie contains, eugh, Humans, decide to rent out A Nightmare Moon on Elm Street.

Of course all their friends are invited. There is absolutely no way any shenanigans could possibly ensue.

After a long day of ruling Equestria, the Royal Sisters need a chance to unwind. Luna's solution is a few glasses of her once famous Moonshine, a drink distilled from moonlight. Celestia has been sober for a thousand years, but the temptation to have "just one" glass proves too great. Yet, when that one glass turns into several, it's Twilight who will have to deal with the princesses when they’re drunk off their flanks.

Applejack receives an order from Princess Celestia, for a batch of cider prepared with a very special recipe that involves honey, yeast, and time. She's even invited to taste the special cider when it's ready. But, when Rainbow Dash finds out about the special tasting, the three mares soon have a little too much to drink. What shenanigans will unfold and how will Twilight keep a lid on things this time?

Every thousand years, the world where upon Equestria lies is chosen to play host to IGOM, the Interdimensional Gathering of Malevolence, an actually somewhat fun convention of the multiverse's undertakers of dirty deeds. Unfortunately, with Discord frozen in stone and the spirit that was Nightmare Moon nowhere to be found, the 'honor' of being host has now fallen upon the shoulders of a reluctant Queen Chrysalis. The problem? She has never had to host any sort of celebration in her life, nor does she consider herself 'evil'.

Filled with doubts, the Changeling Queen turns to the one being in all the land who may be able to help her. Will the world's most famous party pony be able pull off the odd celebration and show the Queen of Deception that there may be more to life than brooding, or will the vile beings she's forced to be around convince her to be comfortable with her 'bad' side? And just what is the true intention held behind the creation of IGOM?
