Spike has been feeling depressed that he may lose Rarity since he is a dragon and that he'll lose her and his friends as he outlives them all. Desperate to find a way to win Rarity's heart, Spike finds a shopkeeper who has a surprise that ends up changing his life. He finds a potion that turns the dragon into a pony and now has a chance with his princess. As Spike takes on flying lessons from Rainbow Dash, swoons Rarity, and adjusts to his new life it all seems okay. He couldn't be anymore wrong and it has come with a great price. He and his friends are in the sight of an old flame who has come for revenge and is especially interested in Rarity. Now Spike must gather the courage to go forward and save his friends and his love.

This story is Sparity fic (My OTP Deal with it) and is a WIP on this site, and on DeviantART. I try to get the chapters out as soon as I can, so my updates my be random. This is gore in this story, but that happens a little down the road, so for now this'll be marked teen. As I reach the gore part, it'll most likely change to mature ratings.

With a magic exam coming up, Twilight has been staying up way too late and stressing herself too much. As a result, she starts casting spells in her sleep, causing all sorts of chaos. Spike, tired of being turned into random items and worried about his friend, tries to do something to help. Unfortunately, his attempts to help Twilight may end up causing more harm than good.

The origins of Spike's birth has always been a mystery, and although he is content with his life, forces out of control have other plans for the baby dragon. The Mane 6 must aid Spike in figuring out who he really is.

Spike is a baby dragon, a "son" to a certain unicorn, a loverboy, a friend, a neighbor, but overall, Spike is the coolest, bestest dragon ever.

Growing up is never easy, especially when you're a dragon among ponies and the closest thing you've ever had to a parent is a slightly scatterbrained young unicorn. When tempers boil over, can this makeshift family pull itself back together?

Something I just couldn't get off my mind until I wrote it down. Be warned: the ponies in these battles really go off on each other. Almost exactly like it is in "Epic Rap Battles of History", except with less cursing. There's plenty of verbal bashing, though.

Vinyl Scratch is the DJ for most of these battles, and will be doing the all-caps commentary (except for the ones she's in, of course). OC tag because of slight self-insert.

--So here we go. This is my first attempt at writing my own MLP fan fiction. I would really appreciate reviews and constructive (civil) criticisms if you feel there are some aspects I could and should improve on. This might be a pretty long one if I have the work ethic to write it all! Thanks a million!

NOTE: Sorry about the wait for this story. I have been making some serious revisions to the story as of late: for one, this story was originally written in third-person limited, but after experimenting with my writing skills, I have decided to turn this into a first-person story from Spike's view. I know it seems kinda hinky, but that's really the best way for me to write personally. Once again, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting.

It has been five years since he first arrived in Ponyville, and Spike has grown both physically and emotionally. Yet even though he's remained infatuated with Rarity for so long, he's bottled up his feelings, until reality hits him, and his depression forces him to make certain decisions he may later come to regret. Now he must face reality, and all that it entails, including his own reflection, whether he likes it or not.

Spike's choices, however, affect not only him, but those closest to him as well. The six ponies he holds closest to his heart will bear witness to his suffering, and they themselves shall know love at its best...

And at its worst...

Rated Teen, because, just in case. Sometimes it's better to be safe rather than sorry. No sex or gore, just in case you were wondering.
