95 years in the future, where Equestria is a parliamentary republic and cutie marks don't exist. There is a small nation known as the Federation of Salaya, situated in chain of islands in the South Sea. It's a peaceful, idealistic setting with sun, surf, and most importantly, Insurgency. A series of bad judgement calls strands three ponies of the Equestrian Republican Army's Fillydelphia Regiment in the middle of dense jungle. Cut off from the rest of their forces and running low on ammunition with only a nervous and inept officer to lead them, they're fighting for their lives.

In the words of Lance Corporal Summer Lightfall: 'We're screwed'.

Fluttershy has a secret. A secret that will lead the mane six on an epic quest to save Equestria. As her best friends try to cope with this discovery, they discover that each of them has a secret to share, and nopony wants to be the first to share theirs. Can the Elements remain in harmony long enough to save Equestria from a dastardly villain?

A hundred years in the future, where Equestria is a parliamentary republic, and cutie marks don't exist, a simple run for take out food ends up being more than Detective Sergeant Ana Kelso bargained for when she discovers a certain pink party pony asleep on the bonnet of her car... despite the fact that Pinkie Pie is supposed to have been dead for the last fifty years.

In an unknown new world filled with mysterious and unexplored dangerous ruins, the story follows Sketch and Kickbolt, two explorers, as they slowly but surely uncover the history explaining what happened in this world. And more importantly, why the pony folk suddenly were brought to it just a little over a century ago.
