For Princess Luna, the evening seems like it will be business as usual, at least until strange lights begin appearing in the darkening sky over Canterlot, amidst other odd goings-on. Unbeknownst to Equestria and the world at large, an ancient and mysterious culture the Earth has not seen in millenia has finally returned after much hijinks and exploration in the cosmos, curious as to what has become of their beloved ball of rock and its unique inhabitants in their long absence.

Now Luna's face to face with jovial hornless minotaurs clad in gear that belongs in an Equestrian sci-fi flick. Maybe Celestia's outlandish claims weren't so outlandish, after all.

Smiling, carefree parasprites now roam the gilded corridors of Canterlot Castle, and not a single pony can be found. Celestia and Luna have temporarily abandoned and quarantined the premises, staying elsewhere while they argue over the best method to go about removing the adorable trash that has infested their home. Unfortunately, parasprites are not the only intrusive thing that have now taken up a presence in the castle during the sisters' brief absence.

Inexplicably teleported in from the sheer amount of valuable possessions being left unguarded, the Norsemen have arrived.

But, in Equestria, Celestia and Luna discover the same spell that Twilight used to travel to the human dimension, thus triggering new problems. But Celestia slowly loses her sanity as time passes. While trying a new spell, Twilight accidentally teleports herself and her friends to the Capital Wasteland. Unaware that there is no coming back, they bump with Jason, The Lone Wanderer. How will this interfere in his journey? Will they be able to survive the harsh conditions of the Wasteland? And how will Jason react over his new companions?

Ponies wear horseshoes. Horseshoes are made of iron and steel. Pinkie Pie gets a super magnet stuck on her hoof, and she cant get it off. What starts out as a fun accident turns quickly hazardous as Pinkie goes through Ponyville to get help before the magnet gets better of her.

When Twilight is attacked and nearly killed by a madpony claiming to be her brother, she, the Princesses, and the rest of the Elements of Harmony find themselves saddled with a shellshocked soldier who would like nothing less than to end her life. While they help him adjust to normal life, he makes his story known - and what he claims causes them no end of worry.

Twilight Sparkle has disappeared. Not just from the face of Equestria but possibly from the face of her universe itself. She must now learn how to survive in a place unlike anything which she has experienced thus far. Luckily she has a friend out in the Wasteland. Join Twilight and The Lone Wanderer as they try and discover a way to send Twilight back to Equestria. Of course this is the Wasteland and things are never as simple as they appear...

This story is a sequel to Dark Wanderings

It's been nine months since Twilight Sparkle got back from her solo sojourn to the Capital Wasteland where she met Ethan Smith, AKA that Crazy Son of a Bitch, AKA the Lone Wanderer and was changed forever. Now with Equestria teetering on the edge of a three way war Ethan is called upon to save Equestria, or at the very least to keep Twilight alive. But dark things are awakening in the background and all is not as it seems, can Ethan save Equestria? Can Twilight keep her friends on her side? Will these questions never stop? The answer to at least one of these is yes but can you find out which?
