His name is Dustin, but he tends to go by either Dee or Dustchu. He's a somewhat regular guy, loves to write fanfiction and daydream constantly instead of actually doing anything worthwhile with his life. But there comes a day in everyone's life that changes everything. Maybe it's meeting the love of your life, getting that job promotion you wanted so badly, or actually managing to go to another country and experience what little life has to offer you.

For our hero, Dee, it's being torn from his own world somehow and thrown into a world filled with magic, fantasy, and fuckin' rainbows in every direction. It seems like a world that is too good to be true, a world he had loved for five, almost six years.

But if he's learned anything by now, it's that beneath all of the glamor and sunshine... there's a whole heaping mess of darkness. Our hero's new life in this world isn't always going to be sunshine and rainbows. But, before he gets into the nitty gritty of Equestria proper, he decides to go on the adventure of a lifetime! Instead of... ya know, going right there lickity split and shits. Follow Dee on his adventure throughout the vast world of Equus, as he tries to survive the fantasy world where darkness lurks around every corner just waiting to capture him in its icy cold talons.

Note: This story is a self-insert and it is written entirely for fun. And if you call the MC a Mary Sue, well I'll just take that as a compliment and assume you're telling me I'm perfect Enjoy friends!

My name is Georg Filipe Mendoza and, I went to a con dressed as Saitama from one Punch Man, and then I appeared in Equestira and the Equestira Girls world and I had all of Saitama's powers and his Bald, and I went to Canterlot High School where I met my best friend Rainbow Dash and my girlfriend Fluttershy and the Defenders of Canterlot and after an ordeal we set up the Hero Association to protect Canterlot from threats sent by Phantom Wizard, the One who brought me and the others from One Punch Man here to the cartoon human world. I will continue my adventure as a hero but, not for fun anymore but, a hero for justice and what it takes to be a true hero for all. My will will be tested more and will I break under the pressure of being a hero for justice or will I succeed and be the hero I never thought I will be?

This is a sequel to my first story a hero for fun. If you haven't read it you should, to know, what has happened before this. Again I'm sorry for my bad english I will continue to try and improve just let me know what I can change in the comments and thank you for helping me write better!

Author Notes: Yes, this is a HIE story. Yes, I know how much people hate self inserts or anything similar to it. And yes, I don't care what people say about this. I'm writing this because I feel like it and nobody can stop me from doing it. To quote Eminem, "See you can hate 'em, he don't blame you frankly he would too." Since I can't use too many character tags, just assume I'll be using every character from the show.

(While I actually thought of the title and premise for this story by listening to Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation, the current cover art just seemed to fit the opening chapter better.)

Note that the Gore tag is simply because of things like characters getting stabbed, shot, etc... Nothing too graphic or descriptive, but better safe than sorry.

A suit of armour wakes up in the woods from a very long nap and has some issues. These involve some less than stable quadrupeds called ponies and one very specific one which we shall refer to as Luna.

After and incident with Discord, Scootaloo find herself on the other side of the galaxy fighting a war she did not wish to be in.

After the decimation of the planet she'd been staying on, Scootaloo finds herself a friend in a newly instated Spartan-IV, Faolan Grant. When things don't go as planned, however, Scootaloo quickly finds a place in the ranks of Fireteam Raven as they fight Covenant Remnant forces and stand strong against even the wishes of ONI itself.

A.N.~ This takes place after Halo 3 but before Halo 4. The idea is that this is happening during the end of the first year after John-117 is reported M.I.A. and not all Covies have quite given up yet. There will be references to Infintiy and the other Spartan-IV's every now and again.
