Hello everypony, this is a sequel to, My roommate is a Vampire. It is narrated by the sexy Vampire Vinyl Scratch, as she and the lovely Octavia come back in a brand new story. I would like to thank both the author for M.R.A.V. and for aboredbrony for reading it. That colt helped me quite alot considering I can't use anything but YouTube at my lovely little place I call home.
With that let us begin with our story...

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity and Spike are on their way to a distant city, but lose their way. When a thunderstorm breaks loose, they seek refuge in a nearby manor, where time apparently stood still. Not everything is as it seems, as all around them, spirits rest uneasily and the supernatural manifests around every corner.

Spike receives a letter from Princess Celestia summoning him to Canterlot with most urgency. As he's leaving to go to Canterlot, he's stopped by Rarity. Rarity is sad to see Spike leave, especially since she had a special message to tell him. Rarity made Spike promise to come back, wanting to tell him that special message. Unannounced to her, Spike was sent on a life threatening mission. Will Spike return, and will Rarity have the chance to tell him the secret message?
In this story, Spike is about 18 years in pony years, and Rarity is about 25.

Spike is helping Rarity at Carousel Boutique when disaster strikes. But love blooms in the worst of conditions, strengthened by the fire. Yet a romance between a pony and a dragon is bound to have certain... complications, that will require an epic adventure and the strongest of love to overcome.

Authors notes: The first chapter is super short (its also really awesome if I do say so myself) but the rest won't be. Promise. There will be some combat later on, but at the moment, it won't be super graphic, so again, dodging a bullet. The first 2 or 3 chapters will be a little sad/tragic, but its not the tone of the story, and its nothing to bad so they won't be tagged. The entire story will not be written like the first chapter. Lastly, as the story evolves tags are subject to change.

Friendships are broken. Worlds are disappearing. Hope is fading. Who can change the fate of Equestria when they themselves are already lost?

When even the Elements of Harmony together are not enough to save Equestria, where will our heroes go for help?
