When his home is invaded by a foreign power Anonymous, a mere student, is conscripted by the resistance to fight and save his home.

After enduring a hell on earth for months; Anonymous and his team makes a final push to end the war, paying the ultimate price in the process.

Awakening in a strangereal new land, Anonymous finds himself at a loss. Grasping at straws, he struggles to cope with his new circumstances. Survivor's guilt slowly chips away at our heroes' mind and he soon begin to lose his grips on reality itself. For Anonymous must rely on comrades old and new to seek the answers he seeks before it's too late.

So, this is unexpected.
Oh, sorry, guess I should introduce myself. At least, with my new identity. My name's Cinder Fall. If you haven't heard of me, I can't really blame you. Still, for those who have, I'm in Equestria, of all places. Not trying to conquer it, actually. In fact, I'm friends with the Princesses. Trust me, it was weird for me, as, before, I was just a normal wife where this-my new identity and this world-were fiction, and on my death bed when something spoke to me, and offered me a second life, as i had done some. . .well, let's just say immoral stuff in that life, shall we. Anyway, I guess I'd better start telling the story of what got me here, and what I've been doing. That's why you're here, after all. To read a story.

General Iroh. Fire Nation hero. First born son of Fire Lord Azulan. The Dragon of the West. It was thought he would be the greatest warrior in the history of the Fire Nation.

But all that changed when the war claimed his son's life. This changed him, and he turned his back on the war.

This was a necessary event. Iroh had a role to play in bringing balance back to the world...but to play that role, he first had to be broken down, so that he could be rebuilt. This truth was self evident in the spirit realm.

But one particular spirit felt this was unfair to Iroh. The wheels of fate are cruel to those caught in the gears, but this particular spirit felt that Iroh deserved kindness. And so this spirit sent Iroh one who would help him to rebuild himself.

And so, shortly after his son's funeral, Iroh would find a creature sent by the spirits, the likes of which he never would have imagined...a pretty pink pony princess.

I apologize in advance for slow updates, but this story is literally being written on location in Afghanistan during my deployment, so bear with me and don't hate me too much when some chapters don't come for weeks. This story takes place after season 5.

A 19 year old named Alex Jones, who has had an unhappy child hood. His father died, his mother has ignored him for best part of his life.

Somehow Alex ends up stuck in Equastria in the body of a 5 year old Alicorn foal of the opposite gender. Where he might get a second shot at the childhood he has never had. That's if an overly clingy Luna who has always secretly dreamed of being a mother, doesn't end up making him wish he/she want his/her old life back.
